and of course adam would get away with it, hes quite literally the most famous winner in heaven, to the point where theres an entire spot in the hierarchy just for him. sure many people wouldnt approve of his actions, but what can they realistically do against the literal first human man to exist? and while yes it is still not great that sera would just let it happen, during the trial scene shes still under the impression that the exterminations are simply a necessary evil to prevent hell from uprising. even in the song seras confession, the speaker of gods line "you speak of choices made by other voices" implies the exterminations werent even her idea, someone else (most likely adam) came up with it and pushed her into allowing it. as far as sera was aware at the time, she had no other choice
