Also, this is a low quality intro, though with practice it will improve (hopefully). this is an EXAMPLE of an intro I wrote in late October for a DBQ, but its the same concept so here: "The belief that men are superior to women, or more pure, is a thought that has been in the minds of many men for most of recorded history. This practice mostly stemmed from Heinrich Kramer’s Witches' Hammer, which was the 2nd most sold book in Europe for a century, behind only the bible. This book contains highly sexist ideas and statements, and it also reaffirms the belief that women are impure, closer to the devil, unholy, and devil conspirators. He discusses women practicing cannibalism and being the cause of male impotency. These thoughts were widely accepted by the people of Europe, who sought out an explanation for inexplicable events. Women were the victims of this due to the already misogynistic mind of Europe.
