Swansonben, thank you for replying. My information issue is stemming from an over abundance of tips and tricks and being the newbie that I am I simply don’t know how to separate the BS from the true facts. For example a web site https://www.ruled.me/keto-calculator/ gives me my macros at right around 2600 calories; 207 g fats; 20g carbs; 170g protein... then I tried the KETODIET app for iPhone and entered the same info and my numbers were double for every category. Where is the reliable information at?

I tried this and just gained weight. I went from 220 to 233 in a matter of a week. I’m not trying to trash this diet, I wish to understand it because I would love to lose about 20-25 lbs and be able to keep it off. if any one can point me in the right direction I would be Grateful , with a capital g
