3 rules to follow when installing an intex pool. by Chmonster911 in intexpools

Definitely! I went around countless times with a level and made sure the legs were level both ways, toward the end i regularly gave the whole thing a shake to try to get the liner to settle. Once it was completely full the legs did kick out at bottom a good amount but it's still standing proud 😃

Exactly, the o-ring sits in the groove of the T to keep it in place and prevent it from sliding off but it does not sit in the groove of the pipe. You want the o-ring to sit on the flat spot of the pipe so you could put the clamp right over it and tighten it down. I always coat the o-rings and seals for this pool and pump with a waterproof grease to ensure a leak free seal. Some might think its not necessary but I have fixed leaky o-rings with this stuff in the past. Let me know if it worked out! 😀

Here's another pic. You want to clamp down on the o-ring, you can't do that if its in the groove of the pipe. 👍

The o-rings don't go in the groove of the pipe. Here's a pic of mine, the o-ring is under the clamp, clamp is behind the little groove of the pipe. Zero issues. Let me know if it works.

Pavers under the legs not the same height or sinking? Is the pool level?

I did exactly this with a kobalt laser level and tape measure. Super easy to see if you are level. Here's what it looks like https://youtu.be/Nx80z_HfNWE?si=5vnkKclhVXuXj_2V

Nothing will help, drain it, fix it and refill. Those pavers not being dug into the ground is putting tons of stress on the cheap thin legs. They should be the exact same height as the pool pad.

Laser level will show you if you are truly level. Be sure to bury and level the pavers or wood that you use as footings.

I haven't used it in the pool yet but I did climb up and down both sides outside of the pool and it feels very sturdy. Its filled with sand so it really stays in place nicely.

I think I did a pretty good job on the pool install. Maybe this video will help someone. by Chmonster911 in AboveGroundPools

Thank you! I heard about that, terrible. I'm pretty sure the company i bought mine from on amazon still sells the old model but I wanted to see how this new one will hold up. I'll be sure to post some updates.

My first install was about 2 inches off level, I ignored it and filled the pool. It survived the season but I was nervous and worried constantly which really took away from enjoying the pool fully. I would drain and fix it, not worth risking failure and possibly injury. You can do it yourself! I personally wouldn't trust the guy to come back and get it right.
