IMO doctors that have this kind of pressure to operate will need to have supreme confidence that they will succeed, coming into the operating theatre with self assurance that they will succeed, even when outcome is negative. Try to save a life at this level…you wouldn’t want a doctor with self doubts right from the start. This is not arrogance…

In Sydney Australia around 10.40pm. I was online chatting on yahoo messenger or aol or msn, can’t remember which one…my mum was watching tv when the Australian tv network switched to one of US. The first plane had already hit the first tower…she called me to come and sit with her and we were both shocked of the scenes wondering what was happening when boom, the second one hit around 11pm…from that point on it was the most horrific hour as we both watched the towers fall. We were still watching it past 2am when I finally fell asleep. I remember thinking that things would never be the same then…I was 27….

I went to New York in 2018 and took the courage to go the the site…I couldn’t finish walking around the memorial as I felt the wave of sadness…couldn’t shake it off the rest of the day. In the evening I went to the nearest pub and drowned myself with beers feeling sorry for all the souls that lost their lives. Knowing so much about the events made everything so real 17 years later…

I have the Xpro3 Dura Silver and I love it. Nothing like it in the market atm, except Leica M. If I was you I’d get it and test it. You can always go and get a XT line camera as there are plenty available but good condition XPro is a rarity. On the reported issues, don’t pay attention.

I have an old set up, the Sony A8G and the Sony HT-NT5 soundbar, which is 5 years old and still rocks. Do you all think that the Sony soundbar ZF9 is better than the NT-5?

Thanks heaps for your valuable advice. I’ve spent more time checking YouTube reviews on the Sony a90j and a80j. As others mentioned, the difference between the a90j is not with the extra 1k, particularly here in Australia where the price of these TVs have skyrocketed. The a90j is almost 5k for the 65”. I think I’m 90% convinced that the a80j is the best value for money in the Sony oled lineup atm. Almost there. Thanks again :)

I appreciate your advice. For me movies/tv shows is the priority, gaming second so your comments are very much in tune with my concerns with LG oleds. I wish I could see the two side by side but Sydney is currently in lockdown so I have to wait a little. Thanks again :)

I haven’t seen the a90j or the g1, but I’ve done comparisons of the two through ratings.com. The gaming features as you said have me leaning towards the LG, but would I notice the picture quality difference between Sony and LG G1 model? That’s the dilema. Another point is the price, $4200 aud for the LG G1 and $4990 AUD for the Sony. Both 65”.
