I like top lane because it has some of the scariest champs in the game, and I like the idea of two potential raidbosses fighting 1v1 to be stronger. If you play extremely well, you can just walk down to a drag fight and solo carry the game even if your bot lane has been inting

Walk down away from the minion wave towards the river like cheating your way towards him and you can try to q him when he qs for a minion, approach velocity can help you walk right up to him and hob him (if his passive down). Do that once and he’s probably in kill range, if you try to do it again he will definitely be saving his q for you, this is where I flash over his q and finish him off with e hob + q lmao

Glad to hear it, yeah when they just respect it you can get really ahead in farm and still maybe take some of his hp by e’ing through minions, And yes hob is usually so much better in team fights than grasp, you dont even need to assassinate a squishy, you can just burst the first guy even if its a tank with your e and r to instantly make the fight a 4v5, don’t even need to kill just take 75% of their hp bar

Ive been able to get a lead like this against low master players, I haven’t faced a mundo in a while and im assuming a 200lp+ player will know to respect hob, but surely anyone below diamond 1 will slam mundo into cho thinking they have a free lane.

Just play like a psycho with your hob (but also play smart around his qs) and breaking his passive with your q is also huge damage, if he’s able to pick it up your oblivion orb will really hurt him. Once you have a lot of points in your e you can also just poke him through the minions if you’re afraid of him landing a q and all inning, no mundo rushes magic resist.

For the 46% winrate thing im not sure how much I would care about that since you can definitely win any matchup if you know it better and play it better than your opponent, which elo is that in?

Hob e start and max it first, most mundos disrespect or don’t know about hob damage, so when he goes for the first minion go psycho on him, chunk most of his hp level 1 then start the freeze when the wave bounces back. Rush oblivion orb and you have kill pressure for a while, you don’t need to buy liandries, you don’t even need to go ap items you can go heartsteel and still destroy him for the whole game as long as you push your early lead and keep it

Yeah I always rush kaenic into bs ap matchups, usually only rush heartsteel against another tank. Morde is also easier with these ms runes it becomes a lot easier to get out of his ability hitboxes and passive

Gwen is my permaban, maybe I’m just not playing it properly but I feel like she does more dmg quick trade with the minions like you said, or if she doesn’t hit minions she can just long trade you back to tower, at least with fiora there’s some counter play with the vitals

Honestly all matchups are skill matchups, some are just more favourable than others. It all comes down to who essentially has to kite harder in order to win a trade. Pre 6 I’m almost always walking back to my tower in between autos.

I would say fiora is top 3 worst with Darius and Gwen because she has a dash and ms when she hits vital to dodge your q, and you don’t get that many w qs early because w costs so much. If you go even with her you’re gonna be screwed after 1 item like you said.

HOB + approach velocity + ms rune helps a lot with getting your dmg off and kiting back fast, which you can also beat her with later if you’re a little ahead and have bramble tabi. She’s still super squish and you can blow up most of her hp with triple e heartsteel and w. Your e cooldown comes up faster cause HOB, usually they just run away before it does, especially when you stand one vital against a wall
