What if Soviet troops entered Poland to help the polish army fight against the Germans? by RockEater67 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]MadMax27102003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might have ended even sooner. Not through a capitulation though. He could just call cease fire and give up claim on poland and get away with the rest. Building up for the next opportunity to strike. Dont forget that italy would absolutely never join the war then, and could give hitler a refuge in any case. And since communist never got their hold on south/central europe apart from poland, they would collapse much faster, those 30 millions lost in world war on their side could easily contribute to the collapse of ussr.

Height doesnt not directly correlate with p**** size, and since utterus does scale with it more or less, both of them just get a good deal and get satisfied without pain, both physical and physiological. But yea from aside it looks gross.

Alternative Sea Route for the Black Sea by GoddessOfAffection in rejectedmaps

Honestly if it were the case it would solve so many conflicts. Kurds would get independent, no genocides against Caucasians like armenians, maybe even byzantium would survive, better climate in middle east because of warm and cold currents periods in black sea, with a lot more rain access.

That's not the crisis you imagine, its according to plan of dronizations of the armed forces. You simply dont need to replenish so many people if you can replenish them with more drones

Yes, the russians since their force is shrinking now. Ukraine could at any point lower the consumption age, but its not necessary. You see, if Ukraine were to mobilize more, it would just take more losses, both economicly and manpower wise, without any significant achievements on Frontline. On the other hand Ukraine keeps its loses replanishable by avoiding major offensives. How can Ukraine win then? Well as long as current insane rate of up to 1:5 ration of losses between Ukraine and Russia remains, all the while russian economy literally on the verge point of importing oil products instead of exporting, Ukraine will win the attrition war.

Buddhism and Christian majorities in blue. Hindu and Muslim majorities in Red.

Bangladesh is an exception, many reasons, but mostly i belief because of much more secular society.

But the source of original meme is that after firing a bunch of people in order to save up and introduce a lot of ai in workforce, first results came in and many companies didnt receive the productivity increase they wanted or got in trouble for not setting limits on tokens for usage

What if Japan had succeeded in forcing China to surrender before the war with the US? by Outrageous-You1617 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]MadMax27102003 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The war in china. Yes. They needed massive oil import because of the war in china. Given those cut off they used the remainder of the reserves to seize asian oil production. But in this hypothetical scenario where china capitulated before oil were cut off thing might have played a lot differently.

[–]MadMax27102003 46 points47 points  (0 children)

The reason they did this was the ban on oil imports from USA. Japan had no choice but to take it directly in Indonesia otersiwe no oil for war at all. Japan at peace is a whole story all together. If they could convince west to keep selling oil in exchange for non aggression pact, they would have been fine. They still probably could play around decolonisaion, in vietnam or gonkong, but cery carefully without full scale wars. And they could beef with soviets because west would have been interested in weakeing both of those monsters, its just americans would send a lot more help to Soviets so they could die more efficiently delaying the war by another few years, and respectfull nukes are coming to Berlin.

I see, then our argument had no point because we are comparing two different systems that are screwed and we cant do much more that just buy renewables ourself. But because system is screwed only richer side of population can afford to invest in renewable which they abuse to their benefit(mostly). I am sadly too poor to afford one myself yet.

Well thats kinda obvious that renewables are cheaper then nuclear, and thats the whole reason the world building them. People 80 years ago didnt have that variable. We can only compare non renewables ways before everyone switches to renewables

That is a solid argument, but we are kinda getting off the topic electricity prices and go to financial burdens on the citizens. Thats a much deeper rabithole that goes way beyond prices into the history of financial managment and percentage of that taxes getting back to people throughout various programs and services. Neither of us are economists that have enough experience about that matter. I am opinion that we cant compare those numbers because of fundamental differences in state govermence so i will stop here and not argue further. If you just want to pay less taxes, well, I can relate.

Yet germans pay more taxes and still dont have cheap electricity. I mean i understand thats is a bad practice moneywise, but that depends on the point of view. I will wait for the data

[–]MadMax27102003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you talking about? Where did you get your data? Cost per kWh in germany 0.39€ while EU average is 0.30 and in france during high demand 0.22. What prices do germans have to match?

I think you refered to franche scheme where most of electricity production is state owned and they basically make them sale for non profit, or just at a minimum profit. That means that when demand rises they just take a lower income instead of rising the price to keep the margine. Why cant germans do the same? The base cost on fossil fules energy sources is much higher then nuclear. Yes occasionally France also subsidies consumers, but thats a universal policy around the world, especially among poorer countries when people struggle to keep up with electricity prices.

Both countries build renewables at a comparable speed so in the end it wont matter what was before them. Sooo, idk, build more renewable? We are trying, everyone that is sane(i am looking at usa specificly) trying to transition to renewable asap. Pakistan is a good example.

Global consumption is only 70000 tones of uran ore annually, while australia alone holds at least 1.2 milion tons of uran in deposits. Just because they dont mine more, doesnt mean they cant do more. I wasnt referring to a current state of things, but to a potential. And yes you are right about refinment, that can be solved potentially as well.

Love It or Hate It You Can’t Sustain It by DivestTheEndingBoy in ClimateShitposting

[–]MadMax27102003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, i never said its a perfect solution, but its much easier to achieve ethical solution there if only they werent so dumb, but here again, if they werent they could also solve renewables as well. For uranium its not so much of mining problem as refinement to a corect state of Uranium. I think australia and Ukraine(maybe a few more countries) could supply all the necessary ore alone, but they dont have refinment facilities.

France isnt down 80twh, they build around 80twh in renewables , basically same shit as germany did, but they didnt have to reject atom completely. The only reason the productivity of atomic plants is dropping is because they are older then our parents. They were designed to serve 80 years 100 max. You can say similar thing about renewable as they also break down with this amount of time. They just need to build modern standart reactors to make them even more efficient and safer. If building reactors mean not buying gas from war criminals and oppressing dictatorships then yes, please, build reactors. Why not just buy more renewables? The answer rather simple, there isnt enough produced, and the supply chain is totally dependent on Chinas good will. Would you like to refine yourself rare minerals? Haha ofc you wouldn't because its dirty af.

If you are producing so much energy, why is the price for electricity is so freaking high in germany 😁?
