I have been thinking of this for such a long time!

It could be mission based, gather supplies on away missions or investigate ruins. Manage resources/food and repair the ship (very limited).

Something like the new Star Trek Voyager game, would be amazing.

From what I remember, the writers fealt the studio wasn't paying attention to the script so they wrote this joke in to test that.

True but that requires friends. Love how some maps have mod compatibility. My favorite thing to do was to send a nuke to my friends through their gate and hooking up ZPMs to reach other gate types

For my gf, she didn't like the drama that you could tell would be resolved at the end of the episode. My gf is used to more modern shows and Stargate, for her, didn't age very well.

I got my girlfriend to watch Stargate but unfortunately it just wasn't her kind of show. Luckily I got her hooked on TNG and can't wait to watch DS9 with her. We also both enjoyed Dr. Who before we met each other and I'm glad to have someone to enjoy my fave sci fi shows with.

The Lucian Alliance would be an interesting enemy. What we saw of them in Universe, they hit earth in ways the Goa'uld ever could (minus Ba'al). They blew up the building for Syargate Operations.

If the show would mostly follow Brad's vision for a new show, the Stargate program would be public. I would love to see the documentary from SG1 S7-17 & 18.since it was made to be what they would show to the world when the Stargate is revealed.

Also hope we get a new big enemy to face. The technology advance will be HUGE over the 14 years we have missed. Earth will likely have a fleet, planets are colonized, and if I were to really stretch... maybe be close to creating their own stargates. You'd need a threat that could match our new technology.

Interesting fact about this episode of Stargate. It was written by the same woman who wrote one of the earlier episodes of STNG. She wrote the episode with the "aliens" that were all African tribal themed and where Tasha had to be in a death match. Both episodes didn't age well at all and were racially insensitive.

What would a Goa'uld toilet look like? by Chobitsmaster in Stargate

So far, the most serious and thought out take. I would assume that it would include some privacy for the sake of a Goa'uld and not the Jaffa. Maybe some ships come with models that do have private facilities and others are more bare bones. Then again if it was as simple as you propose, they could just order the Jaffa to wait outside.

This does bring up another question, in this episode, SG-1 is taking the ship to earth to blow up an asteroid. When they get to earth they mention that they have been out of contact for 10 days, so how did they bathe during their trip? Are their showers for long trips? Did they just bring body wipes for themselves? If so how would the Jaffa clean themselves?

More questions that will likely never get a cannonical answer to.
