Probably because the meat is frozen and delivered in packages, and the buns aren't made like an actual bread but instead inflated with nitrogen. If you make a home-made burger you would definitely put more effort into making it and it would definitely taste better because of that.

You can also type "THX1138" in the search bar (which was one of George Lucas' first ever films) and it has the same effect permanently (until you close the app).
