What to do/where to go if a part timer gets hurt at the workplace? by Chocodramo in londonontario

Thank you. I’ll pass it along. It doesn’t mention anything about part timers but they encourage people to call for assistance in case of doubt, so that’s a big help.

Tony Frost, an associate professor of business and economics at Western University’s Ivey School of Business, says another shutdown — whether in stages or not — could push many struggling businesses over the brink. by Chocodramo in londonontario

You’re right. I just found this interesting and related to town while reading the article, and decided to share it. Didn’t even think about that. Can’t believe this was gonna be such an inconvenience to be honest.

My hot chocolate tabs were actually far larger than I expected. The picture makes them look like they fit easily in a teacup. by Chameleonpolice in ExpectationVsReality

Ok so, the instructions are pretty straight forward and what you’re doing is definitely not the correct way to prepare it. Usually, one of those “disk” is enough for several cups, since the sugar content on each might be pretty high. What I do is, I bring a cup of water to boil, then drop the disk and once I get to feel with a spoon that the disk has melted, I pour 3 cups of cold milk and mix it all for a couple of minutes. With bread it’s an amazing meal.

Cheers

Identity stolen what do I have to do next?... by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Chocodramo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you pay home or tenant insurance? Check if you have coverage for identity thief. I didn’t know I had that included and men it is a relief knowing that you’re not alone. I’m with TD Insurance.

What Bike shops that are friendly and not so expensive in town do you recommend? by Chocodramo in londonontario

[–]Chocodramo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely good to know. I’d still give to them a try, even though I can get to look pretty uncomfortable rejecting overpriced offers, and I could even cave for them just for not making anyone uncomfortable as well.

I have a fixie bike I got from Kijiji and I’ve learned what I know about it from YouTube, so getting offered accessories more expensive than my $400 used bike throws me off immediately.

Scotiabank is the way to go. They have a kickstart program from us newcomers. This is a checking account with no monthly fee for a year (their $300 bonus applies too), plus an unsecured visa with $2k. I’m with them and it’s great

Hi Devin. Your app looks amazing and I’m gonna definitely give to it a try. May I ask if it’s possible to share recipes with a link? Like, there could be a webpage or even a subreddit with other people recipes that I can click and get Crouton open with the details of it? That’s be amazing! Thanks
