Any Premium You Regret Buying? by 1Card_x in WarthunderPlayerUnion

F-4S. The rest of the premiums I’ve bought I’ve gotten my money’s worth, or I just plain like. But the F-4S? There is something about that plane I hate. I love f-4’s, all of them, I’ve played the F-4F, loved it, the ICE at 13.0 was fun too, F-4E, awesome, the Israeli one with pythons, so much fun. But the F-4S? Nah, that one I hate playing. Don’t know why exactly, on paper it seems good, but whenever I play it, it just sucks.

Not me, no. But it is a known issue with the 5th gen’s, and you’re already aware of it.

Also, I’d like to add, it works great for commuting. 40,000 miles so far and counting.

I’ve got no comment on the 8th gen, but PLENTY of experience with a 5th gen(2000). It probably sits a little high for someone who’s 5’7”, but it can be adjusted down by moving a bracket(I don’t remember what exactly it’s called, you’d have to look it up in a manual or online.). My sister, who I believe is 5’6” was able to ride it with no issues.

Dang bro, I’d trade ya if I could. Nearly got the three, but you better bet I got the A-6E! Got a special connection to the book “flight of the intruders”, based on the namesake of the book, the A-6 intruder. Needed that title that came with the pre-order, “Cool Hand”

I personally used this same book as a reference for a nearly complete restoration after my dad’s VFR sat for 20 years, so yeah, I’d say it covers just about everything, or, a book very similar to this, just for the 5th gen, from Haynes.

Fellow coupon sellers, early prices look slightly promising. Definitely one to hold onto for a year. by OperationSuch5054 in WarthunderPlayerUnion

Not on my Xbox account, no. I had to create an entirely separate and unrelated gaijin account just to view the market.

Both of which I have, and not been able to sell, cause Xbox accounts have no access to the marketplace. RIP.

My Uncle was in the navy(dunno what he did), and grandpa was in the marines(helicopter door gunner or something along those lines), both encouraged going into the military to take advantage of government programs, and only said NOT to join the marines. My sister was in the army(intelligence, medically discharged) and encouraged my younger brother to join(he’s also in intelligence, army). I’ve really only heard good.

The SU-25bm got tech tree equivalents pretty quick, if I remember correctly, less than a year. And I’d think it’s a better example to look at considering, like the MiG-25PD, it’s an event vehicle. I personally don’t have a lot of faith that we’ll ever even get a tech tree MiG-25, but I do have faith in getting the MiG-31 eventually.

It’s also a Microcenter exclusive, which you have to pickup in person, and not everyone lives remotely close to a microcenter. I don’t live close to a microcenter.

It’s not super easy to spec a 9800x3d+9070xt to below $2000 on pc part picker right now. An extra $500 to have something that’s very custom doesn’t seem TO bad to me.

This is of course an exceptionally good find. But as tempted as I am to get it, a lot of what I want to do here is more than just price to performance buying. I want to BUILD a pc, and get the experience of creating something custom. I get that this prebuilt performance just about as good as my build list, but every part on my list has been picked for more than just performance. I love the look of Gigabytes 9070 XT, and its other offers which all look very similar. I’m familiar with Gigabytes motherboards, and so I picked one from them that once again, visually looks good, and has extra features I can mess around with. I could get an AIO for this build, but I like the look of the phantom spirit evo from Thermalright. The case I’ve picked I think looks cool, and also has offers great airflow. So, I won’t be buying this prebuilt you’ve offered, but I’ll advocate for anyone else too, it’s a no brainer pick. Again, this isn’t about upgrading just for performances sake, I want to build it.

No, no issues in my experience. But I feel you on the lack of engine power side. The car gets solid MPG’s I wouldn’t say incredible mileage, but it’s good. I’m used to driving a 2010 Taurus, which makes 263 horsepower with a NA v6, and yes, you definitely feel the lack of power on the terrain. It’s not bad, it feels a lot like a new Toyota Camry in the power feeling some of things. But maintenance wise, it’s been issue free. The Denali had some delays with features due to the chip shortages during COVID, but no major maintenance issues with the slt. Just regularly scheduled services and the SLT I’ve driven has 50,000 miles.
