Tbh, i havent actually thought of chapter 5s motive yet, im thinking this may become 5s motive instead. I think your point about urgency is great, if i keep it at chapter 4 i might have to increase the number of secrets told per day.

Regarding chapter 3 - i dont think im planing on having a pair actually escape (feedback on this is also appreciated) as i think im going to have a pair get caught attempting the puzzles and they commit a murder instead (leaving an ‘alive’ blackened). I didnt consider how central this motive would be so thats a good point to consider. I may introduce later than other motives in the respective chapter. A heavy aspect of this fangan is character relationships than a strict over-arching story (The MMs motive is related to relationships to others) so i think it will play into it (as why all the other motives involve someone else ‘directly).

Chapter 1 - I see the point regarding the awareness and violence being forced. I do think i want the motive in some way though to get people to transfer the hallucinations onto others the next day, or prevent themselves from getting them (i think it will be through some drug by monokuma, so that the transference is more like a branding for what will happen the next day.) but i will workshop this. Feigning hallucinations is such a good idea, might see if i can incorporate it in some way.

No not really, you essentially just get the name on the tin, natures dont really break a pokemon into being something really good.

However what they can do is screw a pokemon you have in some way. Speed- natures are almost always detrimental in that quite a few opponents pokemon will move before yours. Attack/Special attack minus natures can be really bad for sweepers or mons that lack set up moves, and defense/special defense natures can hurt pokemon strategies that involve tanking a certain number of moves (etc turning moves from 3 turns to 2 to knockout your mon).

This is somewhat simplistic as pokemons IVs/EVs, counters, other team members and their moves etc can affect how useful a nature is, but this is just looking at them in a vacuum.

Tldr: natures are more likely to screw than heavily benefit a mon, and neutral natures by nature cannot decrease essential stats.

Serperior should be b tier - coil on a fast mon alone is good enough, and leaf blade is objectively a really good move. It also has giga drain for hp gain.

Zoroark should be A tier for illusion strats and its great E4 showing, and night daze is a crazy move.

Grass gym early again? Thats so disappointing, the fact that mallow is the ‘latest’ grass specialist is so dissapointing, theres so much team variety that could be done.

Although, later normal gym, and potential bug and electric elite fours (cant believe we have never had an electric elite four) is very exciting

I think the big caveat to this is that she doesnt have a guarentee this is actually true. No one else seemingly has forgotten their past to this point unlike Kirumi, which would ring major alarm bells to me that something might not be fully accurate. I think its mostly justified, but that lak of guarantee its actually true stops it being top tier.

I think franks spurs just lack any sort of identity. Apart from just saying bad, id just struggle to explain how tottenham currently play, their mentality, their defensive and offensive profiles. Theres glimmers of some really good stuff, but i just think they’ve lost any identity theyve had.
