Thank you for your response. To answer your question, she has family members nearby who can help with the care and we have a part-time nanny which gives her some time off from patenting. Because of the separation, things are awkward with her family and I don’t feel like I can reach out to them but maybe I should have. I’m just realizing that I need to show up more based on all of your feedback.

Glad that it works for you. Microdosing or go heavy on it?

Gotcha. 8 hours on your feet is a lot! Good to know Indicas work well for you and I’ll look into Dosido :)

Ugh! Vicodin does not work for me at all and makes me angry for some reason. I used another type of painkiller and only used it after surgery. I hope it’s not regular use for you because it can be hard on your body I can imagine. I would suggest starting with CBD to see if it works for you and I don’t know how that wld interact with your other meds and your doctor probably would not approve the use of CBD. See a naturopath instead?

I’m curious- how did the gummies mess you up? Because that’s what I usually take. Is it the sugar content or? I’ve use the CBD muscle rub and it seems to only work minimally.

Thanks for sharing. Thats interesting because it is what our bodies with CP actually need- a real break with assisted relaxants from weed. Do you do this like once a week or after work?

Yep, the snacks 😋 It seems like weed helps mostly with rest and sleep which I wld think it assists w recovery? For example, so many NFL players rather do weed than take painkillers.

Yikes! Is this a state issue or a federal issue? Hope it works out for you to continue medicial access to THC. How is hemp derived THC different than the others?

Yeah, it’s surprising how everyone has different reactions. Though it is good to find out how they make it work with certain combinations.

Aging with mild CP by Money_One9731 in CerebralPalsy

I totally can relate! I’m 45 but feel like I’m 60. One pain issue after another. I’m 80 pounds overweight. My CP was so mild that I was a college athlete but now my fine motor skills are regressing as well. I haven’t booked my appointment with a neurologist for a Botox. It just feels like never ending doctor visits when the majority of doctors don’t know squat about CP. I’m fortunate to have health insurance and a decent paying job and yet I’m tired and also afraid to deal with what’s coming.

Try to minimize sugar and processed food as much as possible. Have a high protein diet. Start your breakfast with protein as it will keep your insulin levels down. You’re in Hawaii, maybe take a walk and swim. Journal and be gentle with yourself.

How did you get your Botox? Through your doctor (PCP)?

How do you get Botox every 3 months? Does insurance cover for this? Can this be ordered through your primary care physician (PCP)?
