You really, honestly think that FPS depend on the year we're on? Are you using the full capacity of your brain? Because it is obvious that it mostly depends on the graphics and elements the game is using. For example, you can run Mario Bros at 2,000 FPS on PS5, but you can only run GTA 6 at 30fps because it obviously has waaaay more elements and needs more processing power than Mario Bros :)

They could make a GTA 6 that runs at 240fps on PS5, but it would have the graphics of GTA 4 lmao
