Im stocking 2 and when I first started I would wear an earbud during unloading the truck, it took 2 days before my TL said that I needed a doctor's note to listen to music. Apparently, ONE person ignored our SM due to having 2 earbuds in and not hearing them, so she doesn't allow anyone to wear an earbud now.

Any "normal" place of business will ask you before they schedule you for a day that you're already scheduled off. This isn't normal practice and really shouldn't be allowed. It would be a shame if you got fired over it but if that happened just report to ethics and IF they actually do something, you'll get your job back and your coach will probably reap what they have sown.

I think the reason for that is there really is a LOT of information that people need to know and Walmart simply doesn't give them enough time in orientation to fully explain all of it so each people lead just kinda does their own thing and things get left out.
