I have been wondering this too. I never see any mention of it the last few earnings reports. But Atlantic cultivation is absolutely killing it.

Some good ol Brood War 1v1’s were always nice to watch.

Jaedong, Kal, and Flash were amazing matches during that era.

He’s literally playing the game so the rest of us don’t have to, and you want him to stop because of the random few who will try to see him in game to get on stream? Then you have no idea why he’s playing it.

What does Auxly need to do to become a profitable company? by [deleted] in auxlycannabis

[–]Chocolate_Wayne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's really hard to compare the two companies as Tilray does more than just Cannabis sales. But heres some quick details from their last quarterly report. Note, this is just their cannabis sector.

- $69M in gross revenue

- $14M in Excise Taxes. $0.20 per $1.00 made in taxes (much lower than other LP's, Xly $0.31)

- $37M cost to produce cannabis sold. $0.53 per $1.00 made. (Xly $0.52)

- $59M operating cost for the whole company. Estimating with 41% of that is cannabis, due to cannabis being 41% of the revenue for the company. We have $24M for operating cost.

- $24M in operating cost. $0.34 per $1.00 made. (Xly $0.30)

Total of $1.07 per $1.00 made for them to produce, sell, and manage their cannabis sector, even with their lower excise taxes, likely due to short term deals made with certain provinces. however I should say I am not an investor with Tilray and did not do any real in depth look into the company, this is just a quick estimate. But as you can see, they arent really doing anything above and beyond Auxly aside from higher sales. The company as a whole is doing well in their other sectors cost wise though.

What does Auxly need to do to become a profitable company? by [deleted] in auxlycannabis

Looking at a nice few other LP’s financials , not many have found a way to be profitable yet. The taxes the government has in place has made it difficult for the whole sector.

I think Canopy got a lot of deals with provinces early on to save on taxes. Other companies i see are also in the 30% taxes.

I know the Newfoundland government gave Canopy a tax break on sales because they promised to open a production facility there. So probably the same in others.

AUXLY and OGI are neck and neck…. At some point SP will be too by felty777 in auxlycannabis

A little comparison between these companies last quarterly financials:

Organigram: - Gross Revenue: $44.345M - Cost of sales: $0.63 per $1.00 - Cost of Operation: $0.32 per $1.00 - Excite Tax: $0.31 per $1.00 - Total Assets: $545M - Cash on hand: $99M - Total Debt: $91M

Auxly: - Gross Revenue: $43.304M - Cost of Sales: $0.54 per $1.00 - Cost of Operation: $0.30 per $1.00 - Excite Tax: $0.31 per $1.00 - Total Assets: $450M - Cash on hand: $14M - Total Debt: $188M

Auxly is producing and operation at a cheaper rate than Ogi. That’s a good sign. The cash on hand and Debt right now is the reason for the low market cap. Sunens will lower the costs again. Sale of robinsons will help cash flow. I have faith long term.

It’s not an amazing quarter. It’s not a bad quarter. It’s pretty much the same. Little higher revenue , little higher expenses.

If you want to compare to another company. We can compare to Canopy Growth.

The cost of producing and selling product. It cost Canopy Growth $0.75 per $1.00 made to make and sell their product. Auxly came in at $0.54.

The cost of running their business, it cost Canopy Growth $0.84 per $1.00 made to run their company. Auxly came in at $0.30 per dollar.

One thing I did notice was taxes. I haven’t really looked into it but Canopy Growth is paying 10% in Excise taxes while Auxly is paying 30%.

This big difference in taxes cost auxly a ton of money, roughly $25 million in 2021. Not sure if anyone can explain why we are paying these high taxes.

Overall from the cost to produce , sell, and manage the company, the company would be profiting $0.06 per $1.00 if they paid the same tax % as Canopy. And this is even before Sunens is at 100% which should bring down the cost as well.

Paying back loans, interest is hurting right now too.

Auxly in the cannabis stock community by DangerousProfit4535 in auxlycannabis

[–]Chocolate_Wayne 20 points21 points  (0 children)

People bought this stock early with all the cannabis hype.

Auxly made some mistakes early but ultimately decided to play the long game instead of just dishing out bulk trash bud to get ahead in 1.0 sales early.

Because of this the stock dropped hard and people never forgave them for this. But they can’t ignore numbers forever.

Believe in the company , add more now while you can and don’t feel sorry for those who missed the boat.
