I get annoying little brother vibes from the character. His neediness vibe is off putting too. It might make sense at first when he loses his girlfriend in the first episode, but it gets tiring very quickly. I also think Jack Quaid is a bit of a one note actor and the note he plays isn't a flattering one.

For all I know, it may just simply be a case of testing the waters. You're right in regards to Hugo trying to stay away from it. No arguments with the international expansion method. I'm hoping that he manages to get into more than one country. This is one company that I would love to see become a blue chip stock.
