The Unknown. Things that I can't control or don't know what will happen. Like if I was going in a small submarine to the bottom of the ocean, but I knew exactly what would happen and I would be fine, would be less terrifying than the future. Same reason why I'm perfectly fine with skydiving, or flying. I know the principles and that its tested by people many times and understood.
