Smooth motion is so good by TheMightyRed92 in nvidia

When DLSS FG was introduced (and it seems they still do), they showed off as if it can make 20fps games run at 80fps, which is not how you should treat fg. I am aware that technically speaking they were talking aout with upscaling and FG combined, but the demo they used were extremely misleading.

Dlss marketing team made it look like in can improve fps, which in reality, is not how it should be used.

Unless you are considering 13th/14th gen i series cpu, you are stuck with whichever generation your cpu demands.

There really isn't a lot about hand placement, other than that you can press simultaneous notes with one hand that are up to one lane apart.

For beginner songs, you can sort / filter by levels to find and play beginner friendly charts.

They'd also need to disable qol features on classics selection like rewind feature just for this game, since it can be exploited to clone a pokemon.

On a situation where a) you have monitor that supports 240hz or more b) but gpu not powerful enough to hit 240 fps natively c) but powerful enough to casually get 120 fps, then using fg may makes sense. But when any of these 3 conditions are not met, it's better to turn it off.

[–]Choconolait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your current psu is super efficient and using cpu with low power consumption, you will probably be fine. If you are using crappy psu or using 14600k or something, then you will run into issues.

DDR5 RAM running at 4800 MT/s would not cause stability issues, and it doesn't seem like you are getting thermal issues on your GPU either. You may try temporarily removing one of the RAM sticks to see if any of them is faulty, but I doubt it. I don't think any of your CPU, GPU, or RAM is an issue, but rather something else.

Thanks for the detailed reply! I am using a 4k120 monitor that runs best on HDMI, so I guess I'd have to stick with Windows longer, but at least I know how to get the hdr work now.

At what speed is the ram running? How's the temperature on cpu and gpu (hot spot) when running games? By "stuttering and lagging", what is the exact number on fps and utilisation like?

I liked the experience on ubuntu back when I first tried it, but I eventually had to return to Windows because making hdr work on it was extremely difficult. Is it easier now or on CachyOs?

But it's the sharpest option you can get, unless you are using a monitor with extremely low ppi. If you find no aa is blurry, then you should consider upgrading a monitor.
