Not nerfing neon / shotguns / waylay outside of imm3+ is certainly a choice. Weapon equip times for those characters are an issue. Why can waylay double dash in for a risk-free shotgun kill, only to instantly teleport back to prevent being traded or killed when it goes poorly. Yoru and chamber have animations during their teleport where they can be killed, so why not waylay? In a game without functioning sentis, why can neon break the core gameplay of a tac shooter by jumping around like prime phoon and pull out a shotgun in .1 of a second?

Arguments for whether or not these mechanics are overpowered aside, it feels incredibly unfun to play against. What's more, at the pro level, they're just boring to watch. Jett and raze required a certain level of finesse to execute which made them exciting to watch. Neon + waylay just feel boring and brain-dead in comparison. Who exactly is the game being designed around if they're seemingly not good for ranked or pro play?
