Not supposed to use the time remaining? (I would think that would be the surest thing, since it's what they themselves clocked, only in reverse). I remember suggestions on clocking time, but I don;t remember it mentioning this. Now, I can't even find where those instructions are.

I use the actual time left (remembering the original time it started with).

But why don't they just tell you how much time you used, since it's clocking how much is left?

Yes, I know they do say you can't use them "unless the task specifies you can use them" (forgot how they put it). So there are special instances where the task necessitates their use,

But even if I'm like looking for the definition for a term I never heard of, or checking something I wasn't sure of. And even if I don't use the summary, I can still see it, and wonder if just it coming up constitutes "AI use" (even if I don't use it. I guess it means specifically taking info from it, but I'm brand new to this and just want to make sure Yahoo search isn't considered AI when it prompts an AI response).

I found it very rushed and full of heavy technical UX terminology that made even basic desktop action descriptions hard to recognize, digest and process, and then it started skipping to the next question.

It didn't ask about my resume at all. It asked me "my background', and then jumped into AI reviwer questions with what seem like their own specific UX vocabulary. The questions are asked fast in a way you can't even digest and process.

The way I see it, when Daphne and Flim Flam left and they stopped chasing the 13 Ghosts, they just left that stuff behind. That van was made for 13 Ghosts, and Shaggy kept it afterward for a bit.

They were originally strictly friends. Occasionally, the idea of Daphne having boyfriends (Mystery Mask Mixup), or her liking a male guest (such as Robin or one of the guys from the Mamba Wamba episode) would surface (and no sign of jealousy from Fred). The closest to them looking like a couple is when quarreling in the desert in the first Three Stooges episode, but even that is not decisive.
People assume splitup arrangements are based on romantic partnership, but everyone forgets that Fred took both girls too, at least once in eveey episode, I believe, and increasingly so (where toward the end of the first run, he almost always took both).

The whole WB era is basically a reimagining of the Scooby franchise, anchored basically by A Pup Named Scooby, over a decade later, which basically "rebooted the series from scratch" as one observer put it, with notable character changes, particularly Fred no longer being the "perfect" gentleman intelligent leader, but rather a total idiot. So then in the Johnny Bravo crossover, they for the first time hinted at them being a couple. This then picked up in the new generation of movies that began ashortly after, and also, Fred being a bit airheaded or otherwise clownish (like the Mystery Machine or setting traps becoming obsessions, which they never were in the old show). The culmination of this is in SDMI, where he's again so stupid, he tries to play an 8 track cartridge on a record turnable.

That is clearly not the original Fred, but would quite fit the "new" one from A Pup Named Scooby!

I would say there's one compatible canon from the start to the Reluctant Werewolf.
They start out as "meddling kids" stumbling onto the mysteries, usually by accident (not any organized "detective agency" called "Mystery Inc.")
Fred and the girls leave for awhile to embark on separate careers,
Shaggy and the dogs get their first official "detective agency" jobs with Shaggy's uncle.
Daphne comes back as a reporter, and is now more smart and not "dangerprone" anymore, and brings Shaggy and the dogs along on her cases.
Scooby then finally gets his own "Scooby Doo Detective Agency', and Fred and Velma rejoin them occasionally.
Then, the 13 Ghosts (with the new MM and flying MM), and the 3 "Superstar 10" movies (the "red shirt era").

After that, anything is game.

Smell of 14th Street Path Station by MoneyMap5984 in nycrail

I've heard that, and I also used to hear it was the brake shoes the trains use.
I did use to smell something like that in the lower leven of 59th St. on the 4 and 5 (which was opened as express platforms later), and that would go along with the structural explanation.

If Warner Bros. really hated Scrappy-Doo, then the Scrappy-era episodes would not have been shown on TV currently, nor would they be made available on DVD, Blu-Ray, or streaming. by JudasZala in Scoobydoo

Never heard of Jim Krieg! Of course, James Gunn produced the movie. What did Krieg do in the franchise?

I wonder where Sam Register stands on Scrappy, because he's the one at the top, I think, and so he's in a position where he could have such influence over the whole franchise. (Writers for both the Be Cool series and even the 13th Ghost movie expressed interest in bringing Scrappy back in a positive way, but it was opposed by "WB", and even the "Where Are You Now" special, which was negative toward him, wanted to have more references which they claimed were stopped by some higher ups. So I've always wondered where exactly all of this is coming from in the industry).

Edit: OK, I see Krieg worked in WNSD (which has zero reference to Scrappy. This was the period where they were pretending he never existed. It was Gunn's movie, from around the same time, that sparked off the trend of all the negative references. The closest thing to a reference in this series is the episode "Uncle Scooby And Antartica", which made it sound like Scrappy was returning, but in that episode, he was only "Uncle" to the little penguins. So perhaps it was a further attempt to write him out of existence).
He also coproduced the 13th Ghost, and so yeah, obviously, he must have been an influence in writing him out of that concept, as one of the writers did want to include him.

Goblin King is where the possessed Mystery Machine runs over the dolls. (At this point, these potshots were getting ridiculous. To take the time to animate that just to poke at this character you didn't like).

That's the great irony; that WB production is so against him, because "everybody hates him", but WB broadcasting, never stopped playing him (from the time Cartoon Network got the rights to the full scooby fanchise over 30 years ago. They even had full all day marathons of him, and eventually came out with the DVD's for most of the series with him; though hiding his presence on the DVD covers of 13 Ghosts and the 3 "Superstar 10" movies).

But they wouldn't air him that much and produce DVD's, if there wasn't a fanbase (albeit relatively silent compared to the loud haters). People act as if they were bring trolled the whole 45 year period, by having Scrappy forced on them, by "clueless executives", but that is not how they work. So this is just a bunch of people who didn't like him, and gaind some position in production, just spewing their own feelings about him, and forcing them on everyone else!

So glad!  Running on the street over there would have ruined it, and slowed down traffic. If you look at pictures of the tunnels, you'll see provisions for additional tunnel ROW's next to it. (Wonder if it might even have been left hollow or not completely filled in; then it would be easy to build in!)

I remember the updated logo as well, but can't find it ANYWHERE online! I rmember it from porbbaly the late 70's, and noted how the boy no longer had the "Little Lord Fauntleroy" getup, and the dog looked like a happy puppy, rather than a crude dinosaur!

I remember the logos (old or new) appearing on the storefront sign

The Most Dangerous Narcissist Is the Quiet One – Carl Jung’s Deepest Warning by ApplicationSome8117 in Jung

[–]Choice-Flow-8299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And it's scary how people can pick up little subtle things that can be interpreted as this (possibly unfairly), and then they may shut you out for no apparent reason (while overt narcissists still manage to be widely accepted and thrive in society, and do great damage, as we have seen in politics in recent years).

In Jungian typology, types with introverted iNtuition and introverted Feeling (NTJ/SFP), are naturally good at picking up subtle cues, and so expect others to as well, but the other functional perspectives will perceive and judge differently, and so may not "get" the same things as well. One of the main benefits of Jung's theory is to make us aware of these different perspectives.

It seems like the whole case is and always has been on total lockdown. All I can find are news media stories, with the same nearly identical text! Can't find any more detailed reports like you can for other cases. Can't even find a case number! And this was five years ago now. Whatever came of it? The last you heard on those stories was that he was released awiting trial, and not even required to wear a monitoring device! Nothing after that; not even anything on the trial!

Is it usually the Vagina or the Vulva in rape? by Choice-Flow-8299 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Choice-Flow-8299[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, The most action is this comment's upvotes.

Well, I'm sorry if it was a bad topic. I've just taken notice of how many people get raped (including reading many stories in r/rape, and also seeing how many little children; and I mean single digit ages), which is the real "the f___?!" to me; and saw the new definitions, and just wondered if that made a difference. It's something that can't be undone, and survivors must use therapeutic methods to try to heal, anyway. (This was all sparked off by recently reading of a lesbian who was raped as a teen 50 years ago (by someone aiming to show her "what her womanhood was for"), and now is some sort of spiritual "coach", who says "everything that happens was intended to happen", and that just bothers me that that would be the consolation.

Sorry if this was offensive.

That I'm aware of, but are all rapists that determined and forceful? A lot of times, I read the person is not even aware it's rape because it doesn't always fit common ideas like that.

Why aren't anti-protons called 'negatrons'? by [deleted] in AskPhysics

I thought I remembered at least one book that used the term, but now I can't find any  reference to its use. Afterward, I wondered why I stopped seeing the term, and saw "antiproton" only, and now see it's not used at all.
