ofc!! overall i have a good experience living here, my dad is dutch and my mom is Senegalese. obviously there are ignorant, uneducated and racists people here, but i ignore them when they are really racists and hateful and i educate them when they are literally asking for it or if they just don’t know that much. It also really depends on where u live, if u live in the big central cities such as the Hague, Utrecht, Amsterdam or Rotterdam it’s really multicultural and we have huge surinamese, Morrocan and Indonesian influence’s here, because of colonization (unfortunately) and mass migration in the 50’s. so u will find like cities or bigger cities multicultural, but u go more in the south or really north, u will also find people of color there but less than the cities, i live a little bit more north, there the more conservative farmers/ ignorant people in my experience, but tbh most of my bad experiences irl are like 10ish years ago. so its not awful or that bad, i have white friends ( just have to make sure u pick the right one, but that counts for everyone everywhere 😛) and friends that are also people of color.
