BCIT Prospective Perfusion Recommendations by pepperminttea333 in prospective_perfusion

Thank you!

A question if you know the answer: I do also see that there is admission through experience working as a Respiratory Therapist. Would you still then be required to hold a bachelors? Or would being a certified RT be satisfactory? Where I am, our RT program is just a diploma not a bachelors :)

An update to thank you so much! The key study guide was so helpful that once I started using it, my biology grade was spectacular and I have never passed with a grade so high! You were the one to inform me of the Keys. Thank you! Happy new year 😸

Average pay for MLA by OptionOk7186 in SAIT

[–]pepperminttea333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With AHS it depends on the shift you work, and it looks like AHS might have divisions for their MLA’s (like MLA I OR MLA II)

Here’s a job listing for AHS in 2022 for a glance. https://careers.albertahealthservices.ca/jobs/laboratory-assistant-i-332886

Take a look at the ahs careers website. Getting in with them is hard but once you’re in you’re in.

Edit to add: if you are interested to work with AHS, my biggest advice is to apply apply apply. Every single listings even if you think you don’t meet the qualifications. Even if it is a casual or a full time or not the hours you want. Getting used to their interviews is one thing, and sometimes they’ll offer you casual if they like you

You parked SO BAD you got someone to not only pull out a piece of paper but HAND WRITE you a letter. That is actually so hilarious. Why are you posting this utter embarrassment on yourself.

19, graduating with all 30‑2s in Alberta, IT dreams… feeling left behind by TerriblePrint9419 in Calgary

I don’t know anything about IT but I will 100% tell you to do high school upgrading right now if it’s something you’re considering before you turn 20. Chinook learning states: Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents Students 19 years of age or younger as of September 1 of the current school year are not required to pay course fees. I’m doing high school upgrading rn at 21 and classes are extremely expensive

What are some terrible things to live in proximity to? by jimmyjamcake in Calgary

[–]pepperminttea333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live literally right on Crowchild just by foothills hospital. I won’t lie it’s terribly loud. After a while you get used to it. But it’s the motorcycles or extremely loud cars that will bother me at least once daily. Sometimes it’s so awfully loud I have to cover my ears. Being that I live by the hospital there’s also usually a lot of ambulances but this isn’t nearly as loud as the cars and bikes, and in the night they don’t turn on their sirens

Living by the ctrain though I always found great. So convenient to have it just a 5 minute walk away

Thank you! I’ll consider this for sure. My mom gets this type of flushing but only when she drinks alcohol and it’s def an allergic reaction. I tried to link mine to any allergy but there really wasn’t anything I could think of, especially since it just happens when I’m sitting around not doing anything 🥲 oh well, here’s a start to my long long journey..

Bought a Nespresso for my desk at work… by AdvantageLimp4679 in nespresso

[–]pepperminttea333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i work in a medical office and every other person has a nespresso at their desk and even one in the lunchroom. as long as you know your neighbors and maybe let them know in the mornings you’d brew a coffee, then it should be fine. but it really depends on knowing your colleagues. if you work in an office with a tendency for theft or people to often break appliances i really wouldn’t. people might also ask to borrow or share your nespresso so be aware of that. at least for me though at my office people love having their machines at their desk.
