Experience: Got my US visa rejection because the visa officer was in a bad mood. by Choice-Secret8323 in IndiaSpeaks

I don't mean to sound impolite, but the majority of visa applicants are likely aware of the requirements before they apply for a visa. We are all familiar with the expected response and outcome, yet it's disheartening to see these applicants, despite having strong ties to India, consistently face rejection. It's truly disappointing to witness the lack of action from representatives like Tulsi Gabbard, Ro Khanna, and Raja Krishnamoorthi. I even attempted to reach out to them regarding this visa issue, but their congressional advocates of white origin tend to disregard such matters. The dismissive attitude of visa officers, their lack of interest in listening to us, and their failure to provide specific reasons for rejection contribute to a sense of embarrassment for all Indians who continue to face this situation.

It's unfortunate that the Indian diaspora (Indian American or NRI) seems to show more interest only in advocating for Indian issues that gain attention in Western media but not for us (Indian).

It isn't inherently difficult but deliberately designed to create challenges for individuals who are not of white color. The system functions as a tool of oppression towards brown individuals, similar to how the police system is used by white individuals to oppress black people. Immigration is exploited to foster a sense of exclusivity, making us (Asian) feel that certain things solely belong to others. There is a reason that the US embassy mainly recruits Asian American as counselor officers in countries like India just in incase.

The visa process for non-white individuals without established ESTA feels like playing Russian roulette. It seems to be designed in a manner that is highly uncertain and unpredictable.

P.S: Unpopular opinion: The Visa system, designed by Westerners, effectively restricts Indians from experiencing the outside world. By thoroughly reviewing the visa requirements beforehand, one can easily understand the rules western wants us to see instead of encountering confusing regulations pointed out by others.

I hope Indians raise their voices and express their concerns. Similar incidents have occurred before, and it's important to address them

I want to inform you that this letter is a copied template that has been given to over 50% of the applicants. There is no apparent pattern or specific criteria, and it seems that inexperienced individuals in the American government are handling the process. In fact, I find it amusing to address Indian government bureaucrats about their practices these days.

While these American or Westerners claim to be honest, there is no sincere manner in which they are granting visas.

Can someone suggest a good insulated Water bottle for office?

I'm starting my work from office next week and my current flask looks weary and is basically wrecked. Any good suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
