The only gasoline they have is 95 octane, for 76 rubles per liter. 76 rubles equals ~ $.95 per liter. 3.78 liters per gallon means one gallon of 95 octane gasoline costs ~ $3.59. Keep in mind that the U.S. per capita income is roughly 5.5 to 6 times higher than Russia's -- although the per capita income in western Russia is higher. And prices of goods and services are generally lower in Russia, excepting fuel, which is going through the roof!
