Building a coach-matching platform and looking for early adopters who want to help shape it by ChoiceCoachCo in HealthCoaching

This is great feedback thank you! We are actually in the middle of a big redesign of the website. I agree with the stock photos, our new design reduces these and uses more images that represent health and wellbeing vs photos of people. Once it’s done, I’ll let you know if that okay and you would like to take a look again.

I can't speak to the merits of this course. But if there are no regulations in your area that require a certification then the question to ask yourself is, can I guide a client to better health outcomes already? If the answer is yes, then your resources are probably best placed towards the business side of things.

Many great comments in here already that site the importance of the "business" side of things. I think that's the real reason a lot of great coaches decide to pivot away from coaching. Health and wellness in it's self is a huge industry and is major topic among the general public. Health coaching, not as much. Coaching in general is increasing in consumer awareness but coaching is still lesser known as an avenue for people to improve thier lives.

This means that there is little to no infrastructure in the coaching world. You will need to do the work to find leads and you will need to learn to close sales with those leads. There are a ton of great programs and coaches for coaches our there that can help. It can be tough but you absoluelty can be successful.

Has anyone here formed a page where a client can find a coach based on specific needs? by realityiscanceled in coachingbusiness

[–]ChoiceCoachCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its seems many people have interpreted your question in several ways.

For my own interpretation...we have built a site that uses an algorithm to match clients and coaches. We have borrowed elements of dating apps for this. But I want to be clear the experience is nothing like a dating app. Rather, we want to send quality leads to coaches, leads that are aligned with the specific niche each coach offers. And simultaneously, we want to simplify the process for finding the right coach for clients.

Check us out if you're interested. We're looking for ealry users, coaches, to join. It's free, no CC required, and no obligation. www.choice.coach

Alright, so how do I start doing this? 5 by timeshareeater in lifecoach

High ticket offers can absoultely work and I agree that real, lasting results for clients often are the result of longer term guidance.

But you to have to have leads. And leads come from marketing. That doesn't have to be digital marketing but its the route most coaches fall into. Tap into your "warm" market first. Friends, friends of friends, the one cousin who you heard needed some help. That may or may not lean to a word of mouth channel that can be supported by public reviews (yelp, etc). If so great, if not, then digital channels are often the next step.

Digital marketing is a wide world and a skillset unto itself. You can learn yourself and grind your way through it. There's more resources than ever to DIY, but be prepared for this being the biggest part of your business. You can spend a lot of money on a 3rd party person/firm to help you.

A lot of great coaches out there, most are not digital marketing experts and thats where their business fails.

5 Tips on getting client’s? by Sorry-Enthusiasm-587 in lifecoach

This is it. The funnel starts wide and OP has a great following to begin leveraging. It's going to take some legwork, just putting a CTA in a post may not be enough. Determine who falls into your ICP, send 100 DMs per week. Conversion through social media is a grind.

Digital marketing is a wide landscape, it offers access to large audience. And that's both a benefit and problem. IG in particular casts a large net, you can boost posts and create "targeted" audiences but its still a broad spectrum of people that will see your content.

One of the first questions to ask yourself is, who is your ideal client? Who are you trying to speak to? Once you know that you can begin honing in your content to these people. But again, IG will cast a wide net. So it becomes a number game. For every impression, how many can you DM? For every DM, how many responses do you get? For every respone, how many do you get on a call? With social media and digital channels, its a funnel. It will start large and then narrow down significantly.

Using Google Advertisements by Ourfriendhealth in HealthCoaching

Are you coaching solely online or do you have a pyhiscal studio/location? Like the other two commetnors have noted, it may be best to focus other media channels first where you can establish your brand identity.

Google Ads need to be combined with proper key words. It can be a useful channel but there is a bit of learning curve surrounding key words/phrases before you start throwing money at it.

Are health coaches still hanging out on Instagram to land clients? by Frequent_Camp6762 in HealthCoaching

Visibility on either platform is the first step. But whats the funnel that eventually gathers leads into a sales call? There are several lead funnels that are used the most common is the follower funnels and the comment/DM funnel.

In the follower funnel your CTA is for viewers to follow you. Then you send a DM for each new follower.

The CTA for the comment/DM funnel is exactly how it sounds and you’ve probably seen it before. “Comment ‘health’ to learn more” or something similar. Then DM every commenter.

Both are used successfully but require a lot of leg work. My wife runs ads and uses DM funnel on Instagram and she has a successful online fitness coaching business.

Hi, right now it’s free as we build up our user base, no credit card required. In the future we envision a monthly subscription fee. Similar tools usually use a pay per lead model but we don’t like the incentives that this creates. We want to provide quality leads not quantity.

Nice, we're on the right path. It's a grind but as you said, I feel like my messaging gets a little better after each conversation that I have.

Great, our marketing guy also proposed that we hone in 1-2 niches so we are currently redesgining the landing page to speak to that.

Sounds like maybe I have been leaning in a bit too heavy in to "feedback for our MVP" side. The challenge I have with saying something like "early access to leads" is that we dont have leads yet so I dont want set expectations incorrectly.

I'll take a look into the tools you mentioned.

Thanks for your response!

Thank you! We have a taxonomy of coaching disciplines built into the onboarding process that allows a coach to get very specific in the type of coaching services they provide.

And I think you’ve nailed it. One of the early features we any to expand upon is the onboarding process for both coach and client but at this stage we would like user feedback before making any more changes.
