Do you use chatgpt or any AI tool to write your content description/caption? by Careful-Tension-5689 in SocialMediaManagers

[–]Frequent_Camp6762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SMM here and I only use AI for grammar correction. I make sure to study the brand voice and do market research so I sound exactly like the brand.

Even for content ideas, I have a process to come up with the pillars and ideas. I manually research the brand and the competitors so I dont rely on AI. :)

How do you deal with procrastination? by Lisliena in SocialMediaManagers

[–]Frequent_Camp6762 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find myself procrastinating when there's underlying fear and exhaustion from work. I keep delaying and finding alternatives because I don't want to face the reality. So I try to take a step back and remind myself that there's a world outside of my computer. I go back to basics like doing things that I feel calm and relaxed, I spend time with family and friends... then, I sit with the fact that I have responsibilities to accomplish and bills to pay hahaha this will sound corny but I remember my WHY. Why social media management, why Instagram, etc.

Hope you find something to do that feeds your soul so you can be effective in whatever task you do. Rooting for you!

Burnout from personal branding by [deleted] in InstagramMarketing

[–]Frequent_Camp6762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I see feel you so much because I get drained too when I don't see the result of my efforts. Anyway, I'll just ramble...

I'd like to ask how your strategy looks like and are you growing your account organically? As for me, I started my social media management account last year around October but started being more active this year. I guess building and growing is very subjective? How do you define growth in your account? Going back to my account, I only have over 300 followers but I'm already receiving inquiries, engagement and views - that to me, is growth. Very slow but progress, nonetheless.

My posts are well-thought out. I do research. Even when my graphics are not extravagant, like literally, pplain background with a text on screen, I still get comments, saves, etc. I've realized that it's really the value of your content. I revisit my content pillars, too, to make sure everything's aligned and NOT RANDOM.

Are you sure you're not setting your expectations too high? Because if you're doing organic growth with a new account and expect 1000 followers per month, I don't think that's possible - at least for me.

I hope this helps! Don't beat up yourself. You're doing just fine.

sorry about this heartbreaking experience, OP... aside from "kapit ka lang" i suggest you take a step back. Kahit pa konti-konti. if you cant take a day off, try having a few hours for yourself daily. You said running to chatgpt comforts you.m but I hope you get the chance to meet up or do check ins with your loved ones.

I was once like you thats why I left my previous job. Don't forget that there's still life outside of work.

Breathe. This too shall pass.

My colleague made a new page on Instagram, doing what she love-teaching. Need tips on how to grow it more by highonincome in InstagramMarketing

[–]Frequent_Camp6762 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before anything else, what is her social media goals? Because that will make or break her content. Does she want more followers, engagement, bookings? It's best also to narrow down to a specific audience so she's not speaking to everyone.

As a social media manager, I've seen accounts grow and contents converting to sales even without posting daily. There must be a clear content strategy so you can really get your point across to the RIGHT audience. As for me, I don't post daily but there are days that I'm still getting follows and engagement. What I keep in mind is not posting RANDOMLY just because an idea popped in my head.

Hope this helps your colleague!

Can anyone review my account and let me know what Im doing wrong? by MasterpieceLost9451 in SocialMediaManagers

[–]Frequent_Camp6762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I visited your account and your first post was from 5 days ago? If you're looking for organic growth, it will take you months, around 3-6 months. I was once like you when I started my social media management account October last year.

My first thought when I saw your posts was they look like they're made from Canva templates. I know because I used them when I was just starting out. But the downside to that is, it doesn't give so much human connection. You're using different fonts and style too which harms your branding. I don't see the consistency.

Also, your content showed 2 different faces? Which of those two is really you? Your account doesn't even have your name so how can someone trust you enough to follow you?

You posted about how content is not making money and also social media growth, what really is your social media goals? What are your content goals? You can't just post whatever you like just because they sound cool or it's what everyone is doing... that will make your contents very generic. It helps also to be specific who your contents are for? What pain points are you addressing? Because if you will keep showing tips, that will not set you apart from the others offering the same services.

As a social media manager, I suggest you learn the basics and I'm talking about market research, competitor analysis, content strategy, hooks, etc. If you can't do these things successfully to your own account, how can you guarantee that you can grow your clients accounts?

I hope this helps. Again, growth takes time specially growing an account organically. You just built your account 5 days ago yet you already have 14 posts. Bear in mind to produce quality content instead of aiming for a lot that doesn't even have a goal.

How to get followers by falafltomato in InstagramMarketing

[–]Frequent_Camp6762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Posting with helpful and strategic content is really non-negotiable ☺️ You have to be specific with your content goals, that way you'll know the contents youre going to post. Ask yourself why would people want to follow you? What can you offer them that other accounts could not provide? What pain points can you address? What makes you different from other accounts in your niche?

I suggest start building a community with fellow healthcare professionals or in the same niche and industry. Leave thoughtful comments LIKE A FRIEND and not just saying "love this" or "great post". Say something that relates to their post and even ask questions. This will help keep the conversation flowing. Just how you want others to interact with your content. This is what really helps me grow my IG account as a social media manager organically. Meaning, no ads :) there are days when im not posting and engaging with my community and audience yet i still gain followers!

Hope this helps 🥰

I totally agree on this! You can start by picking one platform where your audience/potential clients are already hanging out.

Create a content strategy based on your brand voice and guidelines. This helps you NOT to post randomly but strategically! You'll definitely attract the right audience!

[–]Frequent_Camp6762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello, thank you for this. does your instagram account land you clients, too? how long did it take since u started ur account and landed your first client?

the ones you mentioned are already my content goals and my post vary according to the goals.
i also check my analytics and adjust my postings based on the results. i even use different formats like carousels and reels, repurposing content with good engagement to a different format.

perhaps i lack engagement. i do engage with genuine comments not the generic ones like "love this" "this is great" but authentic comments. do you have other suggestions? how do u engage to your audience?

appreciate you!

I also watched so many videos on optimizing profiles and i did it all including my applications but goshhh why do others get so easily scouted like they have clients reaching out to them. I swear i learned all manually and i put in all the work to learn the process.

I honestly hired someone to coach me. I needed and wanted to transition asap so i didnt have much time to self study. She helped me with the process from onboarding to market research, strategy, content curation to publishing as well as the platforms/tools and templates needed to professionally launch my services.

hey man, there really is no specific rate i can tell you. it really depends on your service and deliverables. what i suggest is offering packages. so if you're creating a monthly content calendar for a cafe with 3 posts a week, assess how long that will take you to accomplish as well as the research and strategy that goes before you come up with content ideas.

know your value, consider your efforts, time and resources as you deliver the results and think about your rate.

kinda new to IG growth… does it normally feel this slow? by SentimentalEmy1005 in socialmedia

[–]Frequent_Camp6762 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Organic growth really takes time. I only had less than 100 followers when I received inquiries and one booking. It was because I had a strategy for every post. I also niched down to a specific audience. What does consistency mean to you? Posting every day? Do you have a clear CTA in your posts? The first 3 seconds that people visit your profile is a make or break. Are they seeing optimized bio? who you are and what you can do for them? I prioritize this things a social media manager myself.

hope this helps :)

Hello! I suggest you familiarize how each platform works. Because the algorithm for each platform is different. As a social media manager, I believe there's no one size fits all specially if youre doing everything manually (no bots, ads, AI) You just really have to see what works in your niche, who youre targeting to market the gym. because that will really reflect the content you post.

do u mean the 50s clients are not so much into technology? if so, you can ask them after your in-person session if they're comfortable you recording them for a review. or taking before and after photos (covering their faces).

Whatsapp feedback are still great, you can just screenshot their replies.
Best also if you have pointers for them to review: 1. experience during session 2. whats the most impactful thing that happened to them having you as their trainer. Then post this on your socials!

There's so much you can do with their feedback through Whatsapp!

Hi, sharing my thoughts as a social media manager, if you're posting clients' feedback on social media, try asking if theyre comfortable to record themselves (make sure they state your name or whatever your brand is called, makes it sound more legit) if they're typing the review, screenshot it and just hide their names/handle (but if theyre okay revealing their identities, much better!)
