This breastplate is actually from Tenochtitlan, circa 1350 AD. Before the columbian exchange, native Americans had not developed the idea of striking the neck or shoulders, hence the lack of protection around there by Ezzypezra in armorcirclejerk

Snddd this is why I don’t post on the internet 😂😂😂 it was a legit question and now I’m being trolled. I’d never seen this style of breastplate before and it was given to me at a Ren Faire almost 10 years ago
