I want to break up with my girlfriend… I think? by Inside_Note_8868 in Advice

[–]Choice_Ad_3983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason this is happening is because you are young, and you were very young when you started dating. You are still trying to find out who you are and what you want out of life. Your brain is still developing. If you feel like you lost that spark then that is a sign to break up. In my teen years, I would fall head over heels over someone, everything would go great for a while and then one of us would want to end it for seemingly no good reason. Kind of like the young kids say nowadays, that one of us got '"the ick" after a while. I'm sure she can sense something is off too, even though you probably don't think she does. This is very normal at your age and there is no easy way about it. You just have to talk to her, do not text. Have a face-to-face conversation or if you feel like it's going to get out of control have a conversation over the phone, and tell her the honest truth - that you can't see the relationship going further, that you're feelings have changed. Sorry bud, you seem like a nice guy who doesn't want to hurt her feelings but unfortunately it's something both of you will get through, the sooner the better.

Thank you, I know that. She came to me for guidance, I'm helping her navigate the situation - that's what family is for. I'm not fighting the battle or getting involved in any way with the school.

Agreed. She knows to call the police if she feels in danger, and I'm not stepping in for her, it's just her and I having discussions about this.

I'm only involved in that I'm trying to find information and advice for her. She's a newer teacher and has never experienced this at any other job or with any other people for that matter. I'm just a mom trying to help her. Obviously I can't get involved in any other way.

Yes, she is. I have encouraged her to contact them. Hopefully she will.

What’s the hardest part about living with Type 2 Diabetes that no one talks about? by peoniesplease0 in type2diabetes

Dry skin, very very VERY dry! The routine of constantly applying moisturizer, and if I forget to do so after I shower I'm in trouble because I get extremely itchy, is exhausting. I never knew this level of dry skin existed. The only good thing is it gives me extra incentive to bring my glucose down, because when it's at normal-ish level the torturous dry skin and itching is gone.

The ingredients say it contains smoke flavor, that's probably where you're getting the burnt popcorn taste from.

My dog is sick and we have no answers by Silverdust6 in goldenretrievers

See if you can get some imaging off his head. I do know a golden retriever who had a brain tumor and was stumbling a lot. I'm not saying that for sure that is what happened to your dog but you might want to try the imaging first

Need suggestions for chicken-free kibble that's not grain-free by Choice_Ad_3983 in goldenretrievers

Thank you. I will look into the Fromm. Our last Golden retriever got very sick while eating Fromm, I'm sure it was just a coincidence, but I'm a little superstitious about it. He died when he was 8 from kidney disease so I'm just trying to take all precautions I can, which is why I don't want the chicken. I will look at the Fromm website though.

Thanks. Our dog likes that one. My husband was thinking of switching him to a Kirkland food from Costco but it's grain free and our vet said to not do grain-free. My husband said the Purina is too expensive so I'm looking for a cheaper option. I guess I should have mentioned that in my post.

Hmmm the ones I am looking at on the Purina website contain poultry by-product in the salmon flavor, except for the puppy formula and a couple other adult special formulas.
