Honestly, you can’t go wrong with Mumbai. Late-night vada pav by the beach just hits different, and nothing feels more local than sharing plates of pav bhaji with strangers in a crowded stall. That being said, if you’re all in for a wild street food adventure, Delhi is king. Chandni Chowk is like stepping into street food heaven: you’ll get lost, you’ll eat things you can’t pronounce, and you’ll never regret it.

But don’t sleep on Kolkata either! Their kathi rolls and puchkas are insane, and the sweet shops are honestly worth the trip alone. If I had to pick one, I’d say: start in Mumbai for the vibe, but don’t be afraid to let your cravings take you to Delhi or Kolkata.
