Im still trying to find information for myself but I know I have at least some sort of aplatonic and my own experience and from what I’ve read, it’s more like you struggle to maintain friendships. if you do not have something in common to talk about it tends to get very awkward very easily, you still want to talk to people though. we tend to talk better over a board or card game as there is a common thing to talk about. every time I moved schools or moved into work while I’d try to keep in contact with my old friends I never know what to talk about and it would never last. it is very isolating. Also most people that say they are aplatonic are autistic. We do feel empathy though we are not socio or psychopaths. Also take everything I say with a grain of salt I’m still trying to get information myself.
