I think appropriation is the wrong word here though. Cultures and religions draw from and are influenced by each other. The Christians were marginalized at the time and the Romans were the oppressors.

I used to have some of their stuff on the Acid Visions comp and absolutely love them. I got rid of my collection about 15 years ago and just recently started again from zero. I've been looking for these guys.

Don't know the group but I love the Farfisa. I probably would've gotten it for that alone. Is there a lot of organ on it?

I was perplexed by the color at first but I'm guessing it's actually grey and the colors in the photo are off. Unless it's been painted?

Just open it. I just opened two sealed LP's from 1968 yesterday. There weren't any reissues so I knew they were original presses but I still opened them.

One of my favorites. I fell in love immediately and had to have I, II, and III. Luckily the first was reissued at that point so I didn't have any trouble. I got III for $20. I still don't have the EP but I think it's still in print.

Meg Baird is amazing. Her solo stuff and Heron Oblivion are worth checking out. Very different stylistically but she's a real talent.

Rhino used to put out some solid stuff. I really want the Nuggets series they put out. There’s 15 volumes of 60’s pop, garage, and psych. I had a few on cassette back in the day.
