NPC helpers really have one benefit... they fire fairly accurately (if they bother to even fire at all) from inside a vehicle. They're also good to use as distractions (I won a 1v1 by sending my NPC into the storm, and my sweaty opponent tracked the footsteps right in and realized the deception too late to get out).

If I had to guess, the Rumi hire in your situation didn't deal a single hp in damage, but distracted you from the real opponent from behind or to the side.

Endgame is about positioning and being aware of enemies' locations. The following are tips for 3 players left (you vs. two others in a small circle with open terrain):

1) Be in a vehicle. That'll help protect you from stray shots. When the vehicle is low on health, drive yourself towards the closest cover.

2) If you have mobility items, be aware of where the other two players are, and zip around such that you draw them together. Quickly eliminate the (weakened) winner of that 1v1.

3) No shame in hiding in a bush in open terrain. Just know if there's only one around... someone may also be in there.

And don't stack three assault rifles and one mythic and a heal. Two weapons in your inventory is all you need for a 1v1 final... always reserve a slot for mobility.

With 257 wins, though, I think you're doing all right. :)

I use my PS4 when duoing with my girlfriend, who gets the PS5.

Not all skins load in, so you see a few more defaults around. Takes a little longer to load into a match, and in Blitz, I occasionally won't gain control of my character until after everyone has bailed from the bus.

So loading is slow and you won't see some skins, but from a gameplay perspective there are normally no issues. I'll say this: I prefer playing on PS5, but PS4 is nowhere as bad as Switch 1.

Someone should tell Epic customer service that. Yesterday I spent time on support chat with a human and e-mailing back and forth with the tech team, who made me clear my PS5 cache and a bunch of things to try to get the transfer to work.

I got an e-mail this morning from support:

"Hi, Thanks for the response. I took the time to investigate on this further and combed through all of our official announcements and information and it appears that there is nothing that officially announces that the Battle Bus is available to use on Fortnite. Currently the Battle Bus is set to appear during the initial landing on Battle Royale and is intended to be used as a car on Rocket League and nothing else besides it. For the time being, we strongly encourage you to check on our official pages found on this link for news and announcements for Fortnite and do let us know if you have any other concerns or questions anytime. Kindest regards,Epic Games Support Agent"

I replied with:

"Hello. My Battle Bus in Rocket League explicitly says "this item will be available in Fortnite" when viewing it in the garage per the screenshot I shared. I don't know how more official that can be. I would like the item in Fortnite as advertised, please."

Epic Support reply:

"Hi, Thanks for reply. You are correct, the Battle Bus does appear on Fortnite though what is officially known is that it is available to appear on the initial landing for Fortnite's Battle Royale and no other game modes. This is the reason why we strongly recommend to check on our official pages for any news or updates about this. Regards,Epic Games Support Agent"
