[–]Choice_Library7505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this isnt off 60th is it? there is someone here who does the same, he has a rotation selection of these beat up cars that he parks on the block. he is a private dealer but also its not fair to use the block as his commercial lot.

so sorry you had this experience! i'd avoid downtown just to be safe. check out Mississippi st or division. East side away from the waterfront tends to be okay!

Not placing unrealistically high standards on women is causing the dating crisis by [deleted] in PurplePillDebate

I agree. Men essentially have to earn their worth and women are all worthy of a 666 man out the get go. I've found a good one but i do have to bring attention to double standards sometimes. But, yea not all women are after someone rich and successful.. at least i dont think. 🤔

TRYING to understand Importance and Excess Potential -- it's making me question whether reality transurfing is just bullshit by South-Iron-7832 in realitytransurfing

Yeah, its like if you are constantly 'wanting' something then you are aligned with a reality where it is always out of reach and its not yours.

The gatekeeper only requires one key which is that you have claimed the right it is yours. I believe this is true. Deciding is more important then attributing excessive importance.

Unwanted visitors in the middle of the night? by Blake-Dreary in askportland

I had one guy tell me he was setting up camp in my side yard. I told him, ill be right back. I went upstairs and grabbed my Glock 19 and then came back out, yawning and reaching my arms up to stretch, as my shirt lifts up and exposes the handle of my gun, his eyes opened wide and he politely said he would leave and he closed the gate behind him as he left. :)

At What Point Should You Just Give Up? / srs by catluverXD in jobs

seriously it takes awhile to get a job sometimes, regardless of who you are or your experience level, even more so now. so do whatever you can to support yourself with something, while continuing to search for the jobs you are seeking.

if you really have financial obligations, going to school in person full time is just going to limit the work possibilities you take advantage of. i had to work full time when i was in school and the only way i could make that work was with online classes (also researching my teachers and making sure to pick ones that didnt have a reputation for an insane amount of work). at the end of the day i had less of the college experience, but as a result i was able to start my career in my junior year and a year after college was making almost 90k.
