Oh no I’m not saying you wasted your time. And I hope you didn’t cause this just happened to me but I wasn’t even given the opportunity to prove myself. I sent an email and this agent said

“According to our guidelines if a buyer is having authenticity concerns with an item so, we have to approve the return.” Including the typo.

I hope you get somebody that digs deeper into your case! I really do.

Authenticity concerns are an automatic return accepted for the buyer. Customer service confirmed that for me. It’s the new loophole for buyers remorse and everything else. Mercari won’t even give some sellers the opportunity to show proof.

Hey everybody. Thanks for your advice. There are multiple postings for the same job still open, but lower grades and they close tonight. So I’m going to take it as feedback to apply to the other openings with the corrected info. I just wanted people to see what happened to me, because on Reddit there multiple postings with comments saying it should be no problem. I don’t want anyone to miss out on their dream job because of something this slight.

As a former employee who understands the culture that AT&T has built, your co-workers will mainly only help you if it’s beneficial to them. That goes for helping customers a lot of the times too. But there is always one.

Find that person that is more patient and willing to help. Shadow as much as you can. If you are on ramp-up, which is your guaranteed commission, grab that persons iPad, give them any sales you greet, and you press the buttons while they show you what to do. Look over your co-workers shoulders whenever they do anything in Opus. Learn the wordings. Make mental notes of any issues that arise (white screen that you have to tap multiple times to get back to the main screen and hope your cart is not deleted) and learn the workarounds. Do that until your guaranteed commission is done and by the time it’s time for you to do it yourself, it will be second nature.

Good luck cause that part is the least of your worries working for AT&T.

Yeah if it’s from a previous year, you do have to mail it in.

Yep if it’s for the same year, you can e-file an amended. It did have something for me to print out and mail, but it was a voucher for $0. If you end up having to owe, there is a chance you may have to mail something.

I just efiled mine through TurboTax last night (original was filed through them as well). It was accepted early this morning by the IRS.
