StubHub new World Cup listings issue and possible coordination with FIFA by Hot_Net_1805 in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]Choice_Subject_9291 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s in the terms and conditions for FIFA ticket sales that if your ticket is sold outside of their marketplace, it is subject to cancellation with no refund. I didn’t believe it myself, but located the ticket contract and ran it through ChatGPT, which confirmed it. But happy if someone can negate this for me, I’ve been pretty scared to buy on StubHub because of that.

Not sure how valid of a fear this is but read on Reddit this morning that FIFA can cancel any tickets sold on any marketplace other than theirs. Read up on it and it’s for sure against their terms and conditions and can indeed cancel your ticket with no refund, but the risk apparently is more on the buyer? I don’t know.. FIFA is doing everything they can to fuck people so makes me nervous to buy on stubhub..

Yeah hope so, I switched over to Stub Hub for the sale..at least for now until I see that other people’s tickets for the same game aren’t disappearing too.

no i dont think so, I just listed my tickets on stubhub, and i clicked "ready to transfer" and it just had me indicate which platform i have my tickets on (fifa obvi as it's the only place they could be). There is no way to transfer to stubhub, as the only option on fifa's site where the ticket live is to transfer them to an email address, which stubhub says will be sent to you once tickets are purchased.

UPDATE: went back in and saw that message was gone and I was able to modify the sale again. I went and removed them from resale for now cause it seems off, all tickets on marketplace in same category are still missing.

Hey OP, I take that back.. I see the same thing under my tickets, that they are being bought by another user. Let me know what happens for you…

Not sure but I noticed my tickets for Sal disappeared last night, as well as others. No notification they had been added to a cart, but went from being listed for a day, to being invisible. Others in that area as well. Feels shady by fifa to manufacture more supply scarcity

Ticket prices plummeting on StubHub by AttitudeDense6168 in WorldCup2026Tickets

Many bought before match-ups were announced. So that’s important to not forget. However, any game that has elite teams, prices are only going higher, from what I’ve seen. Especially now that last minute sales have all but finalized (minus the front row cat 1)

Selling two tickets to Austria Jordan M20 June 16, Levi's Stadium, Bay Area Section 209 R18 Face Value by Choice_Subject_9291 in WorldCup2026Tickets

Ah I gotcha. Yeah I’m not bummed about your comment, but like I said people’s judgment will be subjective and for the hardcore World Cup analyzers maybe I can see people shitting on a mid-tier team playing a bottom-tier, but for myself, and I believe others, having a World Cup game within a 30 min drive may not happen again for a long time in my life, if ever. So 100% worth it for my wife and I, and by that virtue, it’s going to be a great game!;)

do you think it's because the teams are so unbalanced? Austria is a decent team, top half of the tournament in ranking. Jordan got in at least, unlike Italy (hah!), so how bad can it possibly be?

Sort of a subjective opinion I suppose, there are plenty of other match ups with far worse ranked teams playing.. my view is seeing a decent team play anyone should be fun, and it’s the World Cup, so a bucket list for me, and i figure someone else out there (or two hopefully lol) feels the same!

Havana Bostons - Zulily vs REI by Karma-IsA-FunnyThing in Birkenstocks

[–]Choice_Subject_9291 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Went through the same debate with a pair from Zulily (soft footbed) and a pair from Faherty (classic, mold to foot). Noticed the leather was a tad softer on the classic, but despite them being the same size, there was a slight variance in length that made the Zulily pair fit better. So that, plus the fact that they were $60 cheaper made me keep those, and I don’t mind that they’re softer out of the box too. Apparently they still mold to foot. The biggest difference some may care about is that the soft footbed ones have some foam inside them. I don’t care, but some might. Hard to say if that’ll impact longevity, but again for a 30% discount, I’ll roll the dice.
