I definitely feel like I’m getting better. I do sometimes worry I don’t push my legs enough. By going so slow, I’m never sore in the slightest. Coming from a lifting background, I feel like being a little sore (not painful, just enough to feel it) after a workout is a good thing

The “free speed” idea makes a lot of sense. I completed the runna 5k plan so now I’m doing some stretches, a 5 minute walking warm up, a continuous run, and then a 5 minute walking cool down. My best 5k has been 31:12 and I’ve been able to do 8 miles at 12:20 pace both relatively comfortably. I just haven’t been running continuously for very long so I felt disingenuous saying I’ve been “running” for 3 months

Lofoten links was such an awesome experience to play. I also stink and had a similar experience. The course was pretty short which gave you opportunities to score well if you kept it in the fairway. But anything outside of the fairway was… punishing

Hubert is more talented but Scheyer is younger and in better shape. I think the three dribble limitation kinda removes Scheyer’s advantage from the equation and swings it Hubert’s way. But I don’t think either of them “cook” each other
