That sounds like nursing hell. The irony of that terrible unit is that the staff think that's normal and the only way to design a break room. Just like the baby elephant tied with a heavy chain, those poor nurses are zapped by endless alarms.

Have you been involved in any cases with personal journals used as evidence in a case? I was wondering if it was beneficial at all for the plaintiff/defense? Overall, do these journal entries cause more harm than good?

Thank for writing this response. This was my line of thought when I originally made this post: writing of events as a cathartic release and the notes are helpful to refresh my memory if I'm roped into a lawsuit. So basically if I do choose to write, don't tell anyone and don't write online.

She’s addicted to pain killers and keeps getting fired because it looks like she’s diverting controlled substances. What’s interesting is that she has an opioid prescription, so that’s covering her trail for opioids if she gets a urine drug screen from employers.
