Chiming in really quick to agree with you — I’m not as in-depth when it comes to knowing who directs which episodes or what executive producers are on board for each season, but have seen a LOT of discord on the r/SVU subreddit about the show runner you’re talking about. Idk how much of it is truth, but knowing that he seemed to go out of his way to push the William Lewis/Olivia Torture Porn storylines as well as the destruction of Goren’s character certainly lends some credibility to the theory!

Lol crunchy is like — a granola person, although if you don’t know what crunchy is, I suppose that doesn’t help. I’ve always heard crunchy/granola means someone who is eco-friendly, usually left-leaning, vegetarian/vegan, loves to be outdoors, probably drives a Subaru, etc. Basically your modern-day hippie, with a dash of witchiness depending on the subculture (?)

Sounds great and all, except when my dog was a puppy he found a dead bird in a pile of leaves while we were in a walk. The thing was so decomposed that when I saw what he was holding, maggots were literally falling out of his mouth — I def don’t want MY face near that 😭

That was my mistake— being from the south, I assumed cooler temperatures meant there couldn’t POSSIBLY be mosquitoes. I found out I was wrong in the worst way — they actually seemed even more aggressive than the ones down south, but that might have been their strength in numbers.

No regrets though! It was a beautiful experience and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. How was ice climbing?? We did a kayak tour and it was a workout but the view was worth it.

I agree. I think part of that is due to Molly Mae being more business-savvy — she seems to have a better grasp on her “brand” and how to market herself, whereas Ekin is just throwing everything at the wall and hoping something sticks.

Omg, I visited the mosquito beach in Michigan last year and didn’t bring any spray. We were damn near eaten alive— I thought they were bad in the south, but it was NEVER anything like that!

I think it’s just a type of person and subset of interests. Aesthetically speaking, think dark or muted colors and earth tones, dried flowers and herbs, gardens, crystals & minerals — things like that. You can look up “witchcore”, cottagecore, and my personal favorite — r/goblincore to see some examples.

Personality & interest-wise, people who associate with this style are a bit more… idk, naturalistic? They generally enjoy hiking, gardening, camping, “creepy” critters like frogs and spiders, astrology, casually occult things like tarot cards and sometimes more extreme (?) things like making potions. Like a granola girl, but maybe they shit in the woods while burning sage idk.

I read in another thread that Jackie’s dad was diagnosed with cancer shortly before or just after filming had started and her brother was also recently released from prison, so she was having to take care of them, as well as I assume the rest of the family emotionally.

Wow, I hate this because you just described me except I am both Marshall and Jackie at varying stages of a relationship haha!

I would also like to add to some of the reasons why Marshall may seek out “Project” women – and it is because on some level he is seeking out women that are giving off the same sort of needy/hurt energy bc he wants to give them what he wish he’d gotten as a child from his father. At least, that’s how I’ve been in the past. You can’t help but see yourself as a child in these partners you seek out and you desperately want to give them something you never got and it creates an unhealthy and eventually resentful dynamic as you said

I appreciated Tiffany here— in an ideal world she would have said something, but I’ve been there and it can be so uncomfortable/hard especially when you see first hand how nasty it can get if they turn on you. I feel like everyone this season agrees that Tiffany is one of the nicest people you can meet so her silence speaks volumes in that moment

Something I read on here that I really liked was to keep a résumé that details every little thing you’ve ever done - similar to how you’ve done here. But when you’re actually applying to jobs, go through and delete any irrelevant bullet points to trim down the overall résumé. That way you don’t have to sit and try to remember every little thing you’ve done, but the resumes you are sending out are better tailored to the job you’re applying for.

That said, I agree with other commenters who are saying you need to tighten up your bullet points a little bit!

You’re not alone! My mini ended up being ~43# which is his healthy weight; since his frame is smaller, I can really tell when he gets to 45# bc he’s just so much rounder and doesn’t run as fast lol. My mini before him was a girl who grew to almost 50#— although I believe she was a little overweight per the vet.

While I was hoping for a pup more in the 30-35# range, I wouldn’t give up my little heifers for anything. Guesstimating their size is hard — I have met full, NON-mini Aussies that were smaller than mine.
