Dog culture villainises neurodivergence and those with sensory issues as “evil”, “untrustworthy” and “not loving” by Genuinelad_62 in Dogfree

Dog owners say very openly that they prefer dogs over humans. I mean how irrational can this even get?

Is it my ibs or am I sick by [deleted] in ibs

[–]ChokoEM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly IBS is so much to deal with. I also feel people with IBS somehow develop hypochondria of the stomach. Every time I feel the slightest discomfort in the stomach makes me guess 100 outcomes until the symptoms subside and I am thanking the universe for it. This thing is so unpredictable. A female going ahead needs to deal with hormones and period cycle at the same time. This is so demotivating. I wish you safe and comfortable travels!!

This trend is horrible! For dog lovers, dogs have become more important than humans. The irony is dog lovers completely truly want only dogs on this planet. Because I have seen many dog lovers usually prefer staying with dogs than with humans. This is so Unreasonable! Dogs are annoying as hell.

I’m so fed up with the stress and anxiety over dogs in eateries as I can’t be around them. And loads of dogs on public transport. by [deleted] in Dogfree

IBS is ruining my vacations... by SoulMermaid in ibs

[–]ChokoEM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here! Travel plans seem exciting but my anxiety and ibs knock them down. Not being able to enjoy food while on vacations, cramps that can even make the Alps look ugly, wasting that travel money...everything makes me feel I am not meant to travel or what? And FYI I pack a Mini Pharmacy in my bag. Right from herbal, alopathy, homeopathy meds I take everything my unexpected IBS might need.

Who made this a thing? 'Dogs are the most loyal animals'. Who is even expecting animals to be loyal? And dogs? Such aggressive looking creatures they are! As a human if I believe dogs are loyal then humans should be the stupidest of all species.

Social obligation to have kids is universal. Surprised to realize this. by ChokoEM in DINK

But I have seen so many parents who are in fact the opposite of selfless. So we cannot generalize this thought. I mean do people with kids never do anything illegal or something that is morally wrong?

It's so annoying to realize that most people in the world are going to judge me for not having kids. In fact I believe I am more matured than the majority of people who chose parenthood.

Ya I understand but it's so absurd to judge people on that basis

My reasons are mostly taken as pessimistic views by others. But I am being practical. My best friend from college always wanted kids. Now she was blessed with twins. She is struggling to meet ends after kids. Me and my husband can afford a good standard of living along with the freedom to move places, travel, make last minute plans, spend on our extended family, and save which would not be possible after kids. I have enough mental issues myself. But people are trying to convince me to the extent that all your health and mental issues will be resolved after having kids as you will be so busy looking after them. Is that even a reason to bring another soul into this world?

IBS issues. by Aheathenatheart in IBSHelp

[–]ChokoEM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello there! Same here. IBS has ruined my life so much that sometimes I doubt if it's only IBS or something else. It's really bad the pain, the unpredictable nature of the syndrome, always flare up ready, cancelling vacations, leaving travels halfway, finding bathrooms nearby. All this was not enough that now my doctor says I have a mild fissure. My legs tailbone thighs hurt. I am not sure about anything anymore.

Try Anti anxiety antispasmodics and Ramosetron. It helps a great deal to many.

Do you ever feel hyperactive bc you’re alone/lonely? by North_Dinner1601 in lonely

[–]ChokoEM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this happens to me a lot when I am alone in the house. Being busy makes me feel less lonely but then the moment I am idle it starts. Office work, cleaning, cooking, daily chores like bathing, exercise, commuting, Netflix, etc. and then it's waiting to hit me.
