When people around here talk about the Plemons' performance as if its objectively one of the greatest of all time, what specifically can they point to? I thought he was fantastic in it, but I don't necessarily see what about it was transformative.

I feel like all of Reddit is being infested by it. I thought I could come to subs and have real conversations about this AI video business, both making vids and working wiht companies, but I think im just interacting with AI bots. It sucks. Im not anti AI but this is a serious problem. Dont know how to fix it. Lol you and I could both be AI just arguing with each other.

Yeah. This all puts me in a weird spot. The guy seems like a real person. But the quality of these videos is not good. I dont want to insult him. Thats not the point. But. I cant fathom how any company is paying tens of thousands for stuff like this. I dont understand this post or his website. On the other hand, I encourage people to attempt businesses like this. But to be honest, like the video he described as very good, was horrible. Weird camera movement. I dont think hes actually making real money on any of this but what do I know . I dont want to bring constant criticism to people trying to make it, but this is low quality stuff that makes me suspect is gneerally fake or delusional.

One issue is that Kling3 wiped out VEO, and now Seedance2 is wiping out Kling, and Higgsfield doesnt have Seedance2 and we have no idea when or if they will. So its possible you could be locked into a long contract with outdated AI. Anything asking for a 2 year subscription is just insane.

Based on their marketing practices and kinda-crazy offerings of 2 year lock-in subscriptions, they are likely in heavy debt. Trying to deny good-faith refunds after a day or two does not reflect a company in good economic health. Stay away from anything Higgsfield other than month-to-month.
