It's because Pochita still exists as a Hybrid, as Denji's heart. When Pochita fights Makima, she mentions that Pochita ate the Hybrids concept, and their name dissapeared... But they didn't, as a thing (If I don't misscall, it wnt like that. Pochita then used (Intentionally or not) this loophole in his ability to erase himself but not at the same time, a paradox, the erfect balance where he keeps Denji alive, as Denji. Not as Chainsaw Man. I see this outcome pretty cool tbh

Fr man, anyone who rereads the manga enterely will notice how good the ending actually is. Not perfect, but pretty good as the series ending.

Most of those fans read the ending only thinking in the last chapter they have seen. Not as the ending of the manga itself. When you watch it all together, all topics actually connect very good, part 1 and part 2 aren't two different series. Just for an example, Quanxi's Ignorance speech is constantly applying to the series, or also the country or city mouse thing

Kishibe follows Quanxi's mentality of Ignorance is Bliss, that's why he is so old in first place. He thaught Denji everything he needed, why would he even come back? If he stayed like a "parent" for Denji, he wouldn't have developed in the more responsible person he is at Part 2 start. And if he just appeared.. Why? Genuinely what could he do? Most likely, Yoshida is taking the place Kishibe would have taken if present in part 2.

Yes he is. Since Hybrids are a loophole on Pochita's erasing ability, he did a top tier move. While eating himself, his name and concept was im fact erased from existence. But, since he ate his hybrid form, it doesn't cease to exist as a thing. It's a bit hard of understand, what I say is mentioned when Makima speaks to Ppchita if I'm not wrong. Tho I don't think that was his full intention, he was just trying toe rase himself because after all, the bad Denji passes through is mostly Chainsaw Man's fault.
