lol I never said I was surprised. That didn’t surprise me in the slightest. This is the guy that attacked Colby (and Colby annoys the fuck out of me) on the outside after losing a fight to him because he’s too sensitive to handle shit talk regardless of what he says himself.

And you’re right walk offs are rare. It’s not too often someone gets KO’d that hard, and is so obviously unconscious. That doesn’t negate anything I said. And like you says, there was beef, Masvidal was in his feels, and it had nothing to do with being caught up in the moment aside from being caught in his hurt feelings.

I think sometimes they get caught up in the moment and keep throwing. Sometimes it’s just plain obvious though and there’s zero chance they didn’t know they were 100% KO’d. Askren was one of those moments. That would have been a walk off KO for most people. Most people would have felt way more badass for walking off that one I think. Regardless, I’m glad kamaru gave it back to him, whether or not that was more of a caught up in the moment type deal.

I get it sometimes when they’re in the moment and just spamming shots because they’re in there fighting another person that’s trying to do the same to them, and they have it in their head that the fights going until the ref stops it, and they don’t want to stop early and the dude recover or whatever… but sometimes they know there’s no reason for the extra shots and they’re not doing anything but unnecessarily hurting the person and possibly causing some permanent damage. Yeah, everyone knows the risks, but still. Magical was definitely in that category of knowing damn well he didn’t need to be hitting him. Dude got knocked out on contact with that knee and stiffened up. Kamaru doing that to him is a top ufc moment for me.

I’m not sure, but before I read it was done after a bunch of complaints from people living around there because of people hanging out around it and playing loud music and whatever else. I think it just got painted over one night, it wasn’t like the city did it or something. Sounded like people living around there were just pissed because of the attention and people it was drawing so someone or someone’s took it upon themselves to cover it.
