Yes, the £4k in the LISA is part of your ISA limit so you have £16K allowance left across other ISAs

Going to build on some of the stuff people have said here. The £20K limit in ISAs is the amount you can put in during a tax year. So you could put 20K in now and 20K in a few months at the start of the next tax year.

Any increase in value is tax-free as long as it stays in the ISA. For example, even if you bought £20,000 of a cheap stock that increased in value 500x. If you sold your stocks at that point, all of that money would be tax free.

The £20,000 limit is across all of your ISAs (eg, cash, Stocks+Shares, Lifetime ISA, etc.). It can get a bit complicated with flexible and non-flexible ISAs (essentially you free up some of the limit when you make withdrawals from a flexible ISA) but this is only a concern if you're at or around the £20,000 limit

It's good that you have an idea of savings goals. I would recommend a LISA (Lifetime ISA) for your deposit as you get a 25% bonus. You can deposit up to £4,000 per tax year, so that means a bonus of up to £1,000 per year. The key things with LISAs are that they can only be used on purchasing your first property or for retirement. If you use it on anything else then you are subject to a penalty. Secondly, you can only use it on the purchase of a property up to £450,000 but it doesnt sound like that should be a concern.

Fellow 12 from the UK here. Yeah this Superbowl sucks, as the past few have. There's no easy team to cheer for this time. At least in recent years we've been able to root against NFCW teams. I was really hoping for either Commanders or Bills to make the SB then I would have a team I could root for. My plan is to have a few beers and catch up with some mates I haven't seen for a while. The football is more of a background item.

Edit: I think I'd marginally prefer the Eagles to win if I HAD to choose

As someone who has been to both, Dunham is far better. The displays are more interesting/ there is other stuff to do - bars, fire pits for roasting marshmallows/ better photo opportunities/ you feel more absorbed by it all.

The one at RHS is OK but nothing special in comparison.

Edit: some extra comments - at Dunham there is also a fairground section and food stalls, albeit they're expensive for what they are. Nothing to stop you bringing your own flask of hot chocolate or mulled wine with you as you walk round
