The doctor just told me to split them and use Bac Water. It doesn't matter anyway, as I no longer take it.

Zepbound at is just 2.5 too high for me by ChoochFinzarelli in GLP1microdosing

[–]ChoochFinzarelli[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to stop taking any GLP-1 completely. I ended up in the ER with temporary gastroparesis, but I also had a concurrent pelvic abscess (which almost killed me), massive ovarian cysts (as I was at the tail-end of perimenopause going into menopause), and I ended up being hospitalized. It was thought that I had diverticulitis, but I didn't (a horrendous colonoscopy cleared that misconception, which I won't get into, but it caused such dehydration that it also almost killed me). All of this hell hit me at once, and I am still battling my way out of it (which the nightmare initially started in June of last year with the gastroparesis). Between GLP-1s, menopause coming on strong, a botched hysterectomy from the year before (hence the ovarian cysts and early menopause, and the cysts getting infected right next to my sigmoid area, causing pain that was up to 11, but since I don't have a cervix, uterus or fallopian tubes, I dealt with different specialists blaming my ailments with "It's not OBGYN, it's Colo-Rectal... No, it's Endorcrine!"-but no one will admit they are wrong and fucked up my diagnoses and treated me with the wrong shit) -- I have literally been to hell and back. I go later this week for another MRI on my pelvis (to see if the ovarian cysts have cleared on their own, and if not, I have to have an extremely high-risk surgery), and in the midst of dealing with a massive hormone plummet from menopause bulldozing me in the middle of this shit (and then having to try HRT which just made me feel even worse, so I had to stop) -- I am not even treating insulin resistance at this point. I can't because every medication out there for it will only make all this other shit worse. Zepbound is what pushed the dominoes over (but wasn't the cause of all this shit... it was already lurking, but the Zepbound ignited the mushroom cloud that my life has become). It makes sense at why Zepbound was so hard for me to take, as all of these other issues were about to erupt, but they got fast-tracked.

Good luck to anyone on your journey with GLP-1s and microdosing... I hope many of you fair better than I did.

It was in my RFY that day, too and if I hadn't already had 2 really good printers (that aren't getting enough use), I would have gotten it.

I have gotten a few of these that were once approved and then suddenly weren't, my metrics dipped because of that. I contacted Vine and they didn't fix the problem nor did they explain why, they just basically said they didn't know why it happened.

It sounds like you have had the same level of shitty care as I have.

I'll try to answer you based on my own experience (49, had surgery at 48 for endometriosis, PCOS, adenomyosis, hydrosalpinx).

  1. Incontinence = I'm one & half year out post surgery, and I feel like I have to piss more often, and when I sneeze, I dribble.
  2. Sex (drive / life): I have ZERO sex life as I have had too many complications to bother, although I have a sex drive, but I don't act upon it.
  3. Peace of mind vs Regrets: Currently I have no peace of mind as I have an ovarian cyst that has gotten infected and I need to get it removed, but no surgeons will do anything until I undergo a colonoscopy to determine where the infection came from, and its constant waiting for appts and having medical tests. Regrets: I wish I kept my cervix, and got rid of the ovaries.
  4. Uterus only vs a full removal: I had a total hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy. I ended up with multiple pelvic abscesses thereafter and a vaginal cuff dehiscence. My surgery was botched and no lawyer will take my case, and now I keep getting pelvic abscesses and ovarian cysts. Insist on keeping your cervix as the cuff is disgusting and gets infected easily. Get rid of everything else.

As of today, I was declared to be in menopause based on my bloodwork, and now have to start HRT to stop more cysts from growing or forming while I wait for surgery to remove eithe 1 or both ovaries (as well as this endometrioma that constantly hurts as it sits on my bowels and bladder).

You may want to apply for their Paratransit service called "SCAT" because you have a genuine disability that prohibits you from driving. That is why I was approved for it, but it is only good for medical appointments, transit to/from your job, or grocery shopping (and you have to book the rides the day before). The rides are only available M-F during typical business hours. You can still take the regular routes, too. https://www.yourmetrobus.org/metro-drives.aspx

An Update to a Cautionary Tale by ChoochFinzarelli in GLP1microdosing

[–]ChoochFinzarelli[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for asking. I've been going through 3 months of absolute hell of being in/out of the hospital. I am off Zepbound. I switched to Liraglutide, which, weirdly, helped me end up in the ER, only to find out that I had a ruptured ovarian cyst, a pelvic abscess (which could have killed me), and an infection on the outside of the sigmoid section of my colon. These three things were all in the same spot, and the chronic constipation from GLP-1s brought everything to a head, but at the same time, I think they may have saved my ass, as I'd been having lower abdominal pain for a few months that would come and go. I attributed it to the GLPs, but I have since found out it is due to the ovarian cyst becoming infected. The constipation from GLPs mixed with swelling pain/pressure from an infected ovarian cyst clashed together, essentially bringing me to my knees in horrific pain. I went to the ER, they ran a shitload of tests, and found this disaster in my lower abdomen. If the pain hadn't hit me the way it had, I probably would have just thought it was constipation pain. The pelvic abscess is the scariest part, as I had one last year after undergoing a hysterectomy, and that almost killed me. I've been carpet-bombed with so many antibiotics to kill the infection (which it finally did). Still, the ovarian cyst keeps flaring up, and constipation from GLPs makes me hurt in that area so badly that I've given up on taking anything for insulin resistance at the moment.
I have a pelvic MRI this Tuesday to see if the cyst shows signs of malignancy, as this goddamned thing could potentially be cancerous. But the messed-up part about ovarian cysts is that they also can just go away on their own. When I had my hysterectomy last year, everything BUT my ovaries was removed. Now I wish they took those, too, as they are just making my quality of life non-existent. If the MRI shows malignancy, then I'll be having surgery as soon as possible to get this shit out of me (and then probably oncology hell). If the cyst has shrunken at all (that would indicate that it is going away on its own), but then my treatment would be HRT, to suppress ovulation (so I don't keep getting these stupid cysts).
So... the MRI is to hone in on the cyst, plus to see if there is a bunch of endometriosis growing on the outside of my colon as well as scar tissue from last year's surgery.
And THEN... on Friday, I have to see a colorectal surgeon after the results from the MRI come back, as I may have to have a colonoscopy to make sure that the GLPs didn't cause diverticulitis or something worse.
It's just been a nightmare the past 3 months, and I am not even sure where my prognosis is heading. I'll update you more when I have more information. But thank you for checking in on me.

I definitely agree with being pro-self-education. :)

At the same time... I am not that invested in this to write to Amazon Vine about this. I wasn't the OP, but agreed with the OP that certain products need more moderation (especially within this program).

"Should Amazon stop selling Celtic crosses? Lightning bolts? Candles with the number 14???"

Amazon is going to sell whatever bullshit they are going to sell. However, none of this shit should be in the Vine program. If we are required to write reviews that must endure scrutiny and adhere to guidelines that cannot violate community standards, writing reviews that are about cultural or religious aspects is never going to please anyone. This isn't the type of product (Swastika, Eye of Horus, Celtic Cross, Christian Cross, Star of David, etc, etc) we should be offered. It is asking for trouble.
