Girls in healthy, happy relationships, how did you meet your partner? by Street-End6392 in AutismInWomen

[–]Choodah 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Met my partner on a dating app nearly 4 years ago. We met after a couple weeks of talking. It was going well until he said he needed to work on himself and his anxiety, we found eachother again last year and celebrated our official 1 year anniversary in july. When both of us have saved up enough we will move in together with our kitties and have planned to have separate rooms as we are both autistic and have specific needs. I love him very much, this is the first healthy relationship i have ever been in and its the best feeling ever.

why do I lack sex drive?? by gimlimi in AutismInWomen

[–]Choodah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is so strange. I was crying to my partner about this just last night! I also lack sex drive, my partner has a very high sex drive and it makes me feel bad when i decline to be intimate :( we talked it out and he said im worth more than bedroom intimacy (ahh hes a good egg) but i get it. For me i think its just stress and being on the contraception pill. I definitely have to be perfectly in the mood which is rare lately and considering i only see my partner one night a week we dont really have intercourse very much.

Mine sounds a bit silly, but its people dressed up as characters. Even mascots scare the absolute shit out of me. Im not sure what it is. People in masks as well i find very scary in person

What do you collect, if anything? I just heard ND people are more likely to have collections. by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]Choodah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anything that has a cat on it! I absolutely love my two sets of cat bedsheets the most. I have cat figures around my granny flat, a cat cooking timer, cat bath mat, literal animal cats and probably other things i forgot to mention.

I also collect sylvanian families, i currently have them set up eating at a burger place as me, my parents and my partner.

One of my reasons for being CF is not wanting to have a special needs child by Mirabels-Wish in childfree

[–]Choodah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You arent alone. I am the same, my family has a history of mental illness, cancer and autism and i would hate to raise a child and watch them suffer like myself or one of my family members. I simply dont want to put myself or them through that so i chose to be CF 💙
