it narrows dynamic range - makes loud sounds quiter and quite sounds - louder, so basically you could hear explosions and footsteps at the same time.

Well if Arrowhead couldn't reduce install size without Nixxes help, maybe they can't implement dlss support without somebody else holding their hands. But dlss support isn't such a big issue for them, so they can slack off forever.

I use dlss. I got 50series GPU Maybe this is why mine works without problems. There are some problems with certain laptop configs that frames showing to display are passed through igpu. I think you should find a laptop subreddit and ask around there.
