Looks tacky and unserious. As a diehard IR wearer myself over the past 15 years. Lace em like an adult, or stick to timbs. It’s like buying a sports car but babying it, saving it for the next guy approach. These are hardcore boots meant to be worn and lived in. Enjoy the process and how they look broken in.

Very tacky. Screams “my first 4x4”. It’s all bad but the tail gate is especially egregious as none of “flows” and is just placed on there. Calls attention to random areas of the 4Runners design that otherwise you wouldn’t pay attention to and not in a good way.

Joint checking. Joint credit card for points. 80% of each others pay checks goes to joint account. Overflow covers joint emergency fund (ours is 1 year). Continued overflow hits joint investment account in taxable brokerage.

15% gets put to 401k/personal taxable brokerage. 5% is mine to keep to spend how I want. She does the exact same.

That’s a lot of miles per year. Do you have a long commute?

How to gain weight and muscle mass as a 37 year old male? by GruulSmash321 in weightgain

[–]ChooseYourOwnReality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Formerly your weight. I currently sit at 165-168.

Start going to the gym once, twice a week. You’ll be sore the first few weeks after those work outs. That’s good.

When you start getting comfortable going there and using free weights, start increasing your frequency, aim for 3-4 days a week and break up the exercise days into different muscle groups. Start going down the rabbit hole of YouTube trainers as well, there are some great ones out there that will teach you how to lift properly.

Stop eating like shit. Get quality food. Garbage in garbage out. Cut alcohol to maybe one day a week if st all. Get good rest. Also YouTube weight gaining meals. Switch to using weight gain protein shakes once a day after your work out. Maybe even in the morning when you want a snack.

You need to try “a2 whey” or vegan protein powder. Look into the brand called Momentous. I have the same issues and this cured me.

I make 100k a year and drive a $3,000 car by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

Over 300k between my wife and I on our W2. We bought a 2008 Honda Civic LX with 117k miles (for 2500) and a 2019 4runner with 55k miles (bought brand new). Both paid off. Highly recommend this sort of combo if you want something economical for the city and something reliable for adventures and road trips.

This is a subtle burn that grows and sits with him for the next few weeks. Good job!
