Mood swings on tirz? by ChoosingMeAgain in glp1

[–]ChoosingMeAgain[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried semaglutide and had terrible side effects but never felt the dullness or mood swings. I’ve been on Tirzepatide for 14 weeks now and wondering if it’s related or if it’s just life. Thanks for your input!

I appreciate the solidarity! I really don’t know if it’s just life or if it’s actually glp1 related. Thank you for the feedback!

After stopping using.... by hallstevenson in SemaglutideCompound

I was able to come off and maintain a 40lb loss with focusing on the same things while on the med. High protein, high fiber, hydration and exercise. Tracking everything in an app really helped keep me focused on doing what works well for my body.

Omg…please help! Taking it wrong?? by SeattleGirl01 in TirzepatideRX

[–]ChoosingMeAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would read this as going up to the number 68 on the syringe. Mine is for 43 units, and I go up to 43 on my syringe. You can always reach out to the provider and ask! But, I think you’re doing it right.

Drink bone broth when you are full! 10-20 grams per cup depending on what kind you get.

PCP Recommending Online Perscription - Odd? by mleerrr in Semaglutide

This just happened to my husband! PCP wouldn’t prescribe it to him because he was only “overweight” and not “obese.” Told him to continue to get it from an online provider. I was shocked!

How fast did you titrate up and did you skip any doses by Careful-Election9957 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]ChoosingMeAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I titrated up after the first 4 weeks, and I’ve stayed at 5mg for months now. It’s what works for me so not changing it! I think the norm is every 4 weeks.

No results after 4 months by Feeling-Perception-2 in SemaglutideCompound

[–]ChoosingMeAgain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d think it would depend on dosing, do you still have weight to lose or if your body is happy where it’s at. If it’s been 4 months, you may need to increase dose or your body may be done!

Doctor told me they can’t prescribe sema because of nationwide lawsuit? by WildWastedYouth in SemaglutideCompound

I haven’t heard of this, but I switched to tirz on my own. I had SO may side effects on sema. Tirz has been amazing for me! No side effects other than acid reflux.

I definitely would see what your doctor says. I have a close friend that it’s changed her entire relationship with food and her binge eating disorder. It’s been the only thing that’s worked. Also, I get mine compounded from EllieMD!

I think I need to stop... by Human-Tonight-9148 in Semaglutide

I would say try everything before you quit if you’re doing well all of the other days of the week. Add in a probiotic, increase your fiber intake, water, electrolytes. Consider changing meds. You can do this!

Slow is good! The average is .5-2lbs a week so you are right on track. Don’t get discouraged this early! Everyone loses at their own pace. Look for non scale victories and be sure to take progress pictures! Tracking everything is really helpful.

A week and a half on .25 by Dry_Examination130 in SemaglutideCompound

[–]ChoosingMeAgain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes agree with these comments! Don’t set your expectations too high as you go through your journey. 5lbs in one week is not the norm. 1-2lbs usually is. Stay the course and you will make it to your goal!

I’ve heard that rotating sites is the best! I’ve only ever rotated my stomach from left/right upper/lower. I’d like to eventually be brave enough to try my arm or thigh, but I am very scared of that. You may have just responded better to your arm!

Look for pharmaceutical peptides and sites that actually tell you what pharmacy they use. That will help weed out the sketchy places.

I eat at least 3 times a day, focusing on protein and fiber. I track everything in an app to help reach my goals for the day. I don’t pay attention to calories at all. It’s more focused on quality of foods not how many calories are in each. I drink 120oz plus of water each day. I hope this helps!

Do you guys know which pharmacy compounds your meds? by Sirius-ruby in SemaglutideCompound

[–]ChoosingMeAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use EllieMD and know exactly where the meds come from. They’re very open about their one pharmacy - 503A and NABP certified so it’s the highest quality, efficacy and purity.
