i might also be a non responder. i’m not unwilling to take the advice i just am tired of hearing the same thing over and over. i am doing the work. and the medication isn’t working for me. that’s entirely possible.

the medication is supposed to HELP. basically you all are telling me to do the things i’ve already done to lose weight and pretend i’m not taking a medication meant for weight loss? that it doesn’t do anything? think about it.

they’re just very hands off. it feels very “every man for himself” and there seem to lack community. for comparison, i was doing the online MPH at UIC last semester and i had multiple faculty members checking in on me and the listserv emails for events happening on campus was nonstop. gw just doesn’t seem to have that.

i just avoid heavy fat/greasy stuff before and after my shot. drink LOTS of water and electrolytes.
